14.01.2022 Celebrating Easter at Calvary Family Church. This morning the premier announced we are entering a 3-day lockdown from 5pm Monday till Thursday. Please join us in prayer for the safety and wellbeing of our state. Let us pray for the health of the people, wisdom for our leaders and provision for businesses especially the tourism industry.... Good Friday 7.30am At this stage, we will be holding our Good Friday service at 7.30am as planned. We will be ready to switch to an online service if lockdown is extended beyond Thursday. We will keep you informed as the Premier and her team make decisions later in the week. Easter Sunday 9.00am Let me say a huge thank you to all those who have put effort and energy into getting ready for the Hunt and Celebrating Easter in an open-air service. With a current lockdown and a 50% chance of rain on Sunday we have made the decision to postpone The Hunt till 2022 & return to an indoor Easter Service. We were greatly looking forward to bringing the message of Easter wide into our community and look forward to what this may look like in 2022. Baptisms We will still be holding Baptisms during our Easter Sunday service. If you have decided to follow Jesus and have not yet been baptized, we encourage you to make this next step in your faith journey. Please contact Scott 0412 751 240 if you would like to be or for more information on baptisms. Groups All groups at Calvary will be held virtually or postponed until the lockdown has ended. Care We understand isolation and being at home can be difficult. If you need support or assistance getting supplies, please let us know. Scott’s number is above or let one of your pastors & leaders know. Remember you can leave your house for essential purposes such as: Obtaining food & medication Study and work (including volunteering) unable to be completed from home Health care including caring for others Exercise We look foward to celebrating Easter together.
