We are currently seeking to employ an enthusiastic and motivated person at our operation located in Koonya. This role offers an excellent career opportunity in a large scale and rapidly expanding business.... The position is Casual with a potential pathway to Full-time employment for the right applicant. Hourly rates paid will depend on the individual’s level of experience. This position is not suitable for applicant looking for a short-term role. Position Description This position will require the successful applicant to undertake general farm hand duties. Tasks include, but are not limited to: Daily maintenance and care of stock Grading and placement of juvenile stock Harvesting and packing of stock for sale Construction, cleaning and maintenance of farm infrastructure and stock systems The position available can be physically demanding and will require working outdoors in all types of weather and temperature environments and will include rostered weekend work. Selection Criteria Essential The successful applicant must be: Punctual Reliable Able to work in a team environment Willing to learn new skills Able to communicate effectively A current driver’s licence is also essential. 17.01.2022 Maybe the Oyster Hatchery and the Brewery could start an oyster bar... The kind of algae in this article is what oysters eat, and they eat alot of it! As the oysters graze on this algae, the carbon from the algae (which in comes from atmoshpheric CO2) is then mixed with calcium and used to grow their shells.

The Federal Liberal Gov...ernment has invested a grant of more than $350,000 in the company to assist it purchase new deep water infrastructure. This will help grow and promote the Tasmanian oyster industry, and will create more than 11 local jobs. See more
