16.01.2022 The first stage is nearing completion. Drainage gravel, camper trailer and shipping container are next, then a shed. The house will follow that, but not before some camp sites are established and we start taking bookings!

14.01.2022 Fun and games at Camp Daintree the last few days. Between flooding and landslides we can’t seem to win. On the up side the river levels are dropping!

12.01.2022 Camp Daintree is now officially a not for profit charity organisation registered with Australian Charities and Not-for-profits Commission!

06.01.2022 Been busy at Camp Daintree cleaning up after we got flooded. All our stuff went at least a foot under water minimum. Up to 2 1/2 foot in some cases. After evacuating for a couple of nights, into Daintree Village, we could finally get back and start the gruelling task of cleaning up. We are slowly getting there. We are hoping to have some campsites open up in the near future, so stay tuned and remember to like and share our Facebook page with all your friends!

02.01.2022 So we are now officially living at Camp Daintree! Already had our first guests for dinner, (and they supplied it. Thanks Andrew and Wendy, and thank you John for joining us ) What an amazing evening!
