20.01.2022 IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT: The AFL has announced that all Community and Regional Football within Australia should be postponed until at least the end of May. Based... on that decision, play within the O.D.F.A. will not commence any earlier than Saturday 6th June. A shortened roster has been agreed upon by clubs, and if play can commence during June, this will allow for an abbreviated season and full finals series to be played. Obviously this could change in the future.

07.01.2022 The ODFA Committee tonight voted to cancel the 2020 season. This decision was not made lightly, but it was agreed that the financial impact and health and safet...y aspect outweighed the benefits of going ahead with an abbreviated season. Clubs hope that in 2021, Oatlands and Swansea will be able to field sides and the Association will return to having 7 teams.
