23.01.2022 Today saw an all Westerners contest in the under 10 greens. We managed to get on after the tireless efforts last night and early this morning from both coaches Trent Comiskey and Alex Cross Lee, not without a great helper in Jason Seaman. It was great game by both teams, some great sportsmanship, mate Vs mate. Westerners white batting first saw Lillian Comiskey play some great shots finishing with 4. Was worth a lot more if the field wasn't so damp! Ryder Collins stole the... show with an amazing spell of bowling finishing with 2-3 off his 3 overs. Harrison Lee 1-7 Blair Nightingale 1-9 Zane Huang 1-10 and a run out Harrison Gardner and Charley Collins bowled great today both getting their 1st wickets. Westerners Blue had a slow start with the bat with some good bowling from westerners white. Hamzah Abassi 1-8 Oliver Gardner 1-12 Ethan Brannigan 2-13 A great catch behind the stumps by Lillian!! The running between the wickets improved in the second 10 overs by the blue side. Ryder and Harrison Lee had a great partnership at the end both finishing on 9 not out. Westerners Blue MOM - Without a doubt, Ryder Collins was the man of the match for his amazing efforts today. Did everything superbly today! Westerners white MOM - Hamzah Abassi for his all round effort today. Go Westerners!!

09.01.2022 Our Junior pre season kicked off this morning at Larry Peck Oval. A good turn out and all kids enjoyed getting back into the swing of things. Still time to sign up for the upcoming season, if done tonight your in the draw for the Michael Clarke cricket gear!!

06.01.2022 All the Junior cricketers who registered before Sunday 13th September have gone into the draw for the Michael Clarke prize packs! The draw will be held this Sunday 20th September at Larry Peck Oval at the conclusion of our junior training session. We will be live on Facebook so if you can’t make it down to training, tune in! Good luck everyone!!

06.01.2022 Venue Update!! Junior Training will be at Larry Peck Oval. The club will be following its COVID Safe Plan with all players, if possible, to bring their own equipment including training balls.

04.01.2022 Under 10 green (blue) faced another tough task today coming up against 2nd place Camden. The kids fought on through the heat. Camden batted well, however we showed our fighting spirit. Some great fielding by Zane Huang who is becoming a little gem in the field. Slow start with the bat, however Camden were bowling very tight. Charley opening the batting played some great shots showing us how much she is improving. Harrison Lee ran Ryder Collins ragged at the end.... Ryder Collins 16 Harrison Lee 12 Westerners 10-68 Camden 1-148 Players of the match went to Charley and Ryder Collins!! Great effort kids! Despite the result you are all improving so much! The opposition coach could not speak of your improvements any higher!!!
