22.01.2022 BREAKING: Start planning your holiday! We’re opening Queensland for Queenslanders from noon tomorrow. Queenslanders will be able to undertake unlimited travel, ...including overnight stays throughout the entire state, in a major easing of COVID-19 restrictions. More locals will be allowed in cafes, restaurants, pubs and clubs, with an increase in the number of patrons from 10 to 20. From noon on Friday, June 5, venues with more space will be allowed up to 20 people in each defined area if they follow an approved COVID Safe Industry Plan. Well done, Queensland. Our state’s outstanding response to the COVID-19 pandemic has allowed restrictions to be lifted ahead of a planned move to Stage Two originally scheduled for June 12. 20.01.2022 Merry Christmas everyone. Hope you all have a Wonderful Day. Here’s to a much better New Year.

19.01.2022 Quietly hidden at the southern end of the Bellthorpe Forest Reserve is a wonderful natural swimming hole, Stony Creek Day-Use Area on Fletcher Road, west from Woodford. It has a lovely picnic area with tables/chairs & wood fire BBQ's and drop toilets nearby, alternatively a short walk down the path is a great area to sit on a blanket and/or go for a swim.

17.01.2022 Sandy Creek Campgrounds is only 1 hour from Brisbane, roughly 15mins from Kilcoy or Woodford. The road in is bitumen & then turns to a reasonable dirt road, suitable for all vehicles in dry weather. Each of the three campground areas have flushing toilets, hot showers (clean & tidy) & individual fire pits (fire wood for sale). Although there is no real amount of water in the creek, there is just enough for your four legged friend to get wet. No music is allowed but who needs it when the birdlife make such beautiful music. Keep your eyes peeled for red deer in the mornings, the King Parrots, Wallabies & other wildlife can be spotted throughout the day. We enjoyed our 4 night stay.

15.01.2022 After a few weeks without going anywhere, we decided it was time to stretch our legs & take a few pics so we headed to Colleges Crossing Qld - not camping but an outing close to home.

13.01.2022 With the recent announcement Queenslanders can travel throughout the State, it's time to be mindful of how businesses have needed to adapt to restrictions and reopening. Be Kind. Be compassionate. Be Patient. #outbackqueensland
