24.01.2022 The Annual General Meeting of the Camperdown Seniors will be held on Thursday, 17 December, 2020 at the Hampden Hotel commencing at 11.30am. Please note the change of venue and time (necessary due to not being able to use our clubrooms due to social distancing). Should you be unable to attend the meeting but would like another member to vote on motions on your behalf, you should complete the attached Form of Appointment of Proxy. Should be unsure of a member who is planning to attend the meeting, I suggest you use the Secretary, Nola Duncan as your nominee as it is likely that she will be in attendance. Please note Forms of Appointment of Proxy must be received before the commencement of the meeting.

22.01.2022 After such a long time apart. I'm very pleased to announce that the Camperdown Seniors can now re-commence meetings. A committee meeting is scheduled for Friday, 26 February, 2021 with a meeting at the Killara Centre the following Monday, 1 March, 2021 at 1.30pm

17.01.2022 Our mystery bus trip took approximately 34 seniors to the Flemington Racecourse. We enjoyed a guided tour of the history centre, stables, jockeys room and the Bart Cummings memorabilia. Lunch was delicious. Hot winds, 4O degrees at Flemington, returning to 13 degrees at Camperdown

15.01.2022 IMPORTANT MESSAGE In line with current restrictions on meetings and gatherings and to ensure the ongoing health and safety of all of our members, Camperdown Seniors will discontinue all programs, meetings and presentations for the foreseeable future. As you might be aware the clubrooms have been closed now for several days and will remain closed. Members are advised to not make alternate arrangements to continue to operate Camperdown Seniors activity groups, eg walkers, card ...games etc. Should any of our members require assistance of any kind, please make contact by telephone to any member of the committee. This might include, but not limited to, assistance with shopping for essential supplies. If you become sad or feeling lonely, pick up the phone and ring somebody, we are here for you as much as we are able to be. Should you wish to speak with me, contact me on 0417 315 642. I am currently working with the Corangamite Shire with regards to limits of numbers of people allowed in the club rooms and the Killara Centre in order to ascertain when we might resume activities. It’s complex just at the moment and things will need to stay as they are for some time yet; numbers and social distancing rules are not working well for our gatherings and activities but they are there to safeguard our most precious condition - our health and safety.
