The Ship for World Youth Leaders (SWY) is a unique and once in a life time program funded by the Government of Japan. The program invests in young global leaders, preparing them to work and thrive in a globalised world of diverse communities. 19.01.2022 About the Sail For Life program with Resilience Sailing Inc. Our clients are Women who have been through domestic Violence, as well as Paramedics, Police, First Responders, Veterans and others who suffer anxiety and Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) One of our goals is to look at how sailing can improve the lives of people living with PTSD, irrespective of what profession they come from or what may have caused it.... Most research and programs focus on military veterans and forget that others in society suffer also suffer from trauma and the effects of PTSD. Sailing at Resilience Sailing Inc is a tool for achieving a positive personal and collective excellence, while experiencing adventures among the wind and the waves. Sailing requires mutual dependence, support and team work, and sailors become friends, leaders, and team members. Moreover, sailing demands technical proficiency, and improves both cognitive and motor skills. At RSI we utilise the wind, the sea and boats to teach new skills, build self confidence, learn new skills and help people learn and re-learn how to deal with the curve balls life has thrown.

12.01.2022 LITTLE BLACK DRESS FUNCTION POSTPONED We are very sorry to advise that due to the COVID-19 virus, we have been forced to postpone Little Black Dress to a later date which is yet to be decided. It may be September but we will just have to wait and see how things progress in these crazy times. We intend to refund all bookings received. If you have booked, please reply to this email with your bank account details (name, BSB & account number) and we will transfer your money to th...at account. We are unable to refund to your credit card. For many years, Maybanke Accommodation & Crisis Support Service has been the recipient of all money raised from this event. They continue to do great work in housing and supporting women and children affected by domestic violence, and they continue to need our help. So well be back!
