25.01.2022 Hello Ladies, We have had to change our next catch up from Bev Arnolds home as she and her husband are sick with the flu. We will instead meet at community house at 7:30pm. I dont think we have any competition ideas. Val has organised some ladies to bring along supper so if you have anything you might think the girls would enjoy a show and tell session about bring it along!! 22.01.2022 The girls marched proudly at the Camperdown Anzac Parade 2016. President, Valda Coverdale and Vice-President, Louise Duffy laid a wreath in honour of the fallen. Thanks to Bev Arnold for the wonderful banner. It worked a treat.

17.01.2022 Last night the girls held our AGM and welcomed in our new president Amanda Manifold Vice President Louise Duffy secretary Janet Wason and treasurer Jean Nash. We also welcomed our newest member Lauren Peterson. A wonderful dinner with amazing desserts to finish on. Come along and join the clan its going to be another wonderful year. Thank you to our out going president Valda Coverdale who has done a wonderful job with a huge increase in our membership numbers.

11.01.2022 What a wonderful evening we had last night to celebrate our 42nd birthday. Thank you to all the girls who came along and to our wonderful president Valda Coverdale and our oldest member Nancy Wentworth for helping blow out the candles!! A special mention to our talented Louise Duffy who made the beautiful cakes.

08.01.2022 Anzac biscuits were often sent as slabs as these were better suited to being posted and with desiccated coconut not readily available during the war many of these beloved biscuits would have gone without. Why not try our Anzac slab biscuit recipe this Anzac Day? Anzac slab biscuit... Ingredients 190g/2 cups rolled oats 150g/1 cup plain flour 165g/ cup sugar 125 g butter, cubed 1 large rounded tablespoon golden syrup 1 teaspoon bicarbonate of soda 2 tablespoons hot water Method Preheat oven to 160C. Grease two 15 cm x 15 cm square baking trays. Mix together the oats, flour and sugar in a bowl. Melt the butter and golden syrup together, add bicarbonate of soda dissolved in the hot water. Pour the dry ingredients and mix well. Press mixture into 15 cm x 15 cm square tin. Bake for about 20 minutes until golden. Wrap cooked slab in brown paper.

08.01.2022 The Girls all had a wonderful luncheon held at the beautiful home of Julie for Melbourne Cup day. Everyone was a winner with a very special "Show and Tell" of last years trainers trophy on loan and a wonderful collage of photos of Prince of Penzance. Thank you Julie for your wonderful hospitality and to all the girls who made a beautiful effort.

06.01.2022 Well, 2017 is now kicked off for CWA Camperdown. Our first meeting and over 25 ladies in attendance. It is wonderful to see such friendly faces and to catch up over a cuppa. We were excited to receive two new ladies to the Evening branch.

05.01.2022 Our meeting is on tonight. 7pm at the Camperdown Community House, Gunner Street. Come along and enjoy a great night. Great friendships will be made and we even have a few laughs and adventures along the way.
