21.01.2022 Meet our Groomer Jo!!! Jo has previously worked as a groomer in Port Macquarie and is pleased to now be part of the Camvet team. Jo will be grooming Monday - Friday each week and is able to groom dogs of all sizes and breeds and will give anything a go. An advantage of being located in a veterinary clinic is that if Jo notices something of concern (bad ears, lumps & bumps etc) we can give owners a call to see if they’d like their animal seen by a vet while in the cl...inic. We can also sedate and groom cats and even the most difficult to handle animals under veterinary supervision. We will be offering loyalty discounts and monthly bath and freshen up services to help clients stay on top of their pets grooming needs. We can do specialty grooms, all-off-for-the-summer clips, hygiene clips or just a simple hydro bath and brush out Also offering de-shedding hydro baths to reduce hair loss All grooms include a nail clip, anal gland expression is an added service Give the clinic a call on 6559 9828 to make a booking

06.01.2022 Covid Safe 2020 has certainly been a year of challenges for us all. To keep the staff and community at minimal risk and to adhere to the NSW Covid Safe plan, we have implemented the following changes at Camvet Hand sanitizing station at the front door for clients to use before entering and when leaving the clinic Hand sanitizer located in reception area for clients to use as required Staff will wear face masks when interacting with clients ... Perspex sneeze screens at the reception desk Restricting numbers to 4 Clients in the reception area at any one time. Reception area has designated seating and standing areas to maintain social distancing Maximum of one client in the consult rooms at any time We ask that only one family member attend appointments with pets if possible Once in the consult room with your pet, to maintain social distancing, please remain seated and allow our nurses to hold and comfort your pet during examinations Frequent disinfecting of all surfaces in the clinic throughout the day If you are unwell in any way but need your pet seen, please call ahead and a staff member can collect your pet from the car park to be examined and treated by your vet. If you are attending the clinic to pick up medications, we ask that you please call ahead so we can get the medications ready for you to avoid lengthy wait time in the clinic. Any staff member displaying cold like symptoms will have a mandatory Covid test and self isolate until results are back While these are trying times for us all, we will do our utmost to keep everyone safe and to continue providing a valued service to the community. Please be patient with the new restrictions and supportive of our staff as we all adapt to this new way of life. We’ll get through this together!!
