18.01.2022 Sisters of Charity Foundation Award a $15,000 Grant to Can Assist Cootamundra - Combating the Impact of COVID-19 on Fundraising Income. After more than 180 ye...ars in Australia, the Sisters of Charity continue in their work of restoring hope and providing meaningful assistance to those in need. Through Can Assist, the Sisters will be helping those families in Cootamundra and surrounding towns who are experiencing financial barriers to cancer treatment. Without Can Assist many people would face overwhelming bills that they could not afford. Di Jamieson, current recipient, Cootamundra. 18.01.2022 Unfortunately due to strict COVID-19 rules the Executive have decided to postpone our Street Stall next Friday-the health and well-being of our volunteers is paramount so not to put any stress on our workers or the public we have made this decision albeit not lightly -We hope November might be better -Thank you Lithgow for your on-going support of this very important charity -Lesley Secretary
