21.01.2022 DOG (SIGHTING): AINSLIE Spotted a dog while driving, Tuesday 11:30pm. Looks to be a small Maltese breed, cream or grey. Was skittish when approached and wouldn’t let me near. 19.01.2022 ***UPDATE: REUNITED*** DOG (FOUND): GUNGAHLIN My daughter and two other girls found a puppy walking home from the bus today - my daughter wanted to take it home so we could try and find the owner but the other girls (one older) insisted they take it. I hope they post to this page and take it to the vet as we suggested while I was on the phone to my daughter, as this is what we would have done. ... They found it on Dame Zara St (near Sarson) in Gungahlin and it kept going up to the same house scratching at the door. They knocked and waited but no one answered. Puppy didn’t have collar and she forgot to check the sex before the girls took it to their place (also in Gungahlin). Charissa via pm

My dog Sasha in Chisholm got out my window earlier because she's terrified of thunderstorms. She has a collar on and is also microchipped in my mums name. 12.01.2022 CAT (LOST): MACGREGOR 'Simarna' is a black male cat. He is 14 years old, desexed and microchipped. He has been lost in Macgregor since the morning of the 1.12.20. He would be timid and very scared due to not being used to the outdoors for long periods. He is in URGENT need of medication for seizures which he gets daily. 02.01.2022 DOG (SIGHTED): CHIFLEY It was a mostly white terrier, in between a Jack Russell and a highland terrier. I couldn’t get close to him but he didn’t seem to have a collar and he looked dirty. He looked lost but fairly confident. I saw him on the fire trail that runs behind the houses between Waldock St and Mount Taylor in Chifley. Sighting was at 7am this morning. (Claire via pm)
