I typically spend a lot of time at airports, in lounges, in transit, in hotels, in conference rooms, back in transit, in airports, in car parks before heading home quite late at night. ... 18.01.2022 p e o p l e p l e a s i n g One of the things I see a lot as a coach is how much we people please. We so often give our power away. We ignore our authentic NO and resentfully say YES to stuff we truly dont want to do for people we dont want to do it for!... Sound familiar? Its a product of desperately seeking validation. As humans we are obsessed by gaining the approval from others. Its the only reason we do it! We want to be liked and loved. We want connection. We often, unconsciously go about our day and throughout our life with the following background questions driving our behaviour. Do you like me? Do you love me? Am I okay? Is this okay? Am I good enough? We often seek approval in others by over committing and stretching ourselves too thin, only to then experience being in a resentful funk, as if we were forced to do it and we had no choice. Its time we took responsibility for our own truth. Tamed the self sabotaging shadow and got comfortable with being uncomfortable in saying NO THANKYOU. My advice.. honour thy self first, speak your truth and retain your energy for things that light you up rather than drain you. It is one if the most empowered things you can do and people will then know where they stand with you and you wont carry around misplaced resentment and projection (which others can feel). Its amazing how all the decisions, judgements, beliefs, opinions and assessments get in the way of us living our hearts desires out loud. ... If there is anything I want more for you its that you powerfully put the past in the past and that you allow yourself to create whole new possibilities for your future. How do you know if the past is impacting your today? You know by how you feel. If you are worried, anxious, concerned, stuck, in a funk, inhibited, insecure, shut down, lacking self expression, hiding, avoiding or feeling doubtful about yourself and your days ahead, you can bet theres some historical funk in your subconscious trunk. Now knowing is the first step to transformation as awareness is key to evolution, however Its what you do with the knowledge that counts. 07.01.2022 u n m a s k The masks we wear hide us from our innate truth and that within another. The triggers we pull fire irresponsible bullets of pain were often unwilling to be accountable for. ... The spite we speak are swords of fear and shame that maim our heart and light and that of another. Its all pain, all the unresolved pain from the past that block and stop us from living our Souls deepest desire. We often become consumed by keeping the illusion of who we think we and others are alive. We become the stories of our past and our limiting beliefs rather than being the empowered author of our ultimate reality. Its a very limited expression of the undeniable awe inspiring love, truth and radiance we intrinsically are. Bringing awareness to our shadow can only give us the ability to effectively choose our brilliance for without awareness there can be no access to transformation. There is zero choice within ignorance. Unmasking means laying it down, stopping the pretence, no longer hiding our vulnerabilities and raw insecurities. It is one of the bravest and most courageous acts we can do. It isnt easy, its completely worth it though. Are you aware of the masks you wear and how it plays out in your life? My body may not look like it did in my 20s but my self worth, self love, self esteem is fitter than ever because I know Ive earned every line, wrinkle, lump, bump and scar. People are often surprised when I say Im nearly fifty (48) and ask whats my secret...... 1. Gratitude - I wake up every day and say THANK YOU for yet another day on earth 2. Service - I do an invocation each morning to have Source work through me 3. Happiness - I am definitely a glass half full kinda gal and see opportunity and possibility everywhere (who am I kidding, Im a glass, water, ocean, waterfall, earth, galaxy kinda gal, unlimited) 4. Baggage Free - I let s#*t go and refuse to hold on to anything that weighs me down 5.
