18.01.2022 WHICH CONTAINERS = CASH Are you excited for the Containers for Change WA scheme? From October 1, you'll be able to exchange some drink containers for ...a 10 cent refund. Info sessions are being held across the state to help get people ready- here's some of the things you need to know: What's accepted? Most aluminium, glass, plastic, steel and liquid paperboard beverage containers between 150ml and 3L are eligible for a refund. What's not accepted? White milk bottles, wine bottles, pure spirit bottles, cordial and pure juice containers over 1L are not accepted because traditionally these drinks are consumed at home Also any containers that are less than 150ml and greater than 3L. Can I crush the cans? Yes, as long as you can still tell that they are a drink can. Can I start collecting now? NO, you can't start hoarding containers. The scheme doesn't start until October 1, so you are supposed to have purchased and consumed the containers you recycle AFTER that date. We know what you're thinking how will they know? Well, if you rock up on October 1with 500 drink containers they might guess that you didn't consume all those drinks in a few hours. What about the lids? There will be a different box to recycle the lids but you must REMOVE THE LIDS from each container. If you've got other questions like 'how do I get my money?' Or 'where will refund stations be set up?' Check out more info here: https://www.containersforchange.com.au/wa Will you make the effort to take drink containers to a recycling refund point from October 1st?

07.01.2022 ARE YOU LOSING OR GAINING PROGRESS? During this crazy time, you've got two options. Option 1: Take some time off ... You may be thinking: "What's the point in doing anything right now?" "Who knows how long this outbreak will last, so I may as well kick back and enjoy some time off..." But consider where you will be in 3-6 months time if you do this. Not only will you lose fitness and put on some weight, but you'll also have conditioned bad habits and negative thinking patterns You'll develop a "lazy mindset" which will also affect your confidence when you're back on the hockey field. This could later lead to frustration and losing out when it really counts, because others will take option 2. Option 2: Use this time to gain an advantage There may be some things that you can't do, like play hockey. BUT... There is SO much you CAN do to improve during this time (without leaving your house). This is your opportunity to LEARN the game and do things that you don't usually have time for. In our proven system we have 4 pillars we focus on: 1) Master Your Skills 2) Condition Your Body 3) Train Your Eyes 4) Master Your Mental Game Without ALL four of these pillars, you won't be the best you can be. And maybe you'll have regrets later if you slack now. "If only I did more..." "I wish I was more prepared" Let us help you to use this time to prepare the best you ever have before. Unlock everything there is to learn about becoming the ULTIMATE HOCKEY PLAYER, with access to our complete 'university for hockey players' Plus get the full support and motivation from high calibre players from around the world. Want to know more? I've put together a training video taking you through some of the common mistakes that players make and what to do instead to make the most of your time. You now have more time than you'll ever have to improve your hockey. Will you take option 1 or option 2? To find out how you can make the most of this time to gain an advantage and get ahead, click the link below
