23.01.2022 All Club Training resumes at Calamvale Community College (Muirhead Street entrance, Calamvale) Tuesday 25th August. Please Note: Only Players/Parents/Coaches in the active training session will be allowed in sports hall. Prompt entry & exit will prevent loss of training time.... Parents please ensure players arrive no more than 10 mins before training time and prompt pick up is a must. All players will need to exit hall immediately after their training session. 14.01.2022 PLEASE NOTE: Training is continuing as per our usual schedule. SWMB Association have a very safe & thorough COVID-19 plan in place, as well does Cannons Southside to ensure Club Basketball games and training can continue. We also have accredited BioSafety Officers in place. Our Children/players need their basketball ! ... We all need to play our part in keeping our club players/families/coaches safe by maintaining social distancing when players are not on the courts, sanitising hands & basketballs, having separate entry & exit doors & staying home if you are unwell, to keep our Club, courts & games open. 08.01.2022 So today was officially the first day of school holidays for Qld State Schools... Tonight Kids Rule ! . They decide when to eat, when to stop swimming (with a gentle reminder) Its been a very hard & difficult, unique year for us all. With all the pressure us parents have faced, I'm not ashamed to admit that I often thought you kids have it easy. But they too, were facing a year that was completely out of the norm. The stress of home learning, trying to keep up, to keep com...mitted, then to return to school and the pressure to maintain grades as if nothing had happened ! I truly think all of our children have tried their absolute best to keep up, to survive this year, just like us adults. Yes day 1 of school holidays has driven me crazy already, but the smiles and laughter that I see on their faces, is priceless. A truly moment to treasure considering the year every single one of us has experienced. We are blessed that we all have our health Happy Holidays , Kindest Regards, Pres Michelle See more
