08.01.2022 Are you or someone you know doing it tough this Christmas? We have just gone through my daughters cupboards and have these clothes to give away. Some are new with tags, and some were day care clothes so stained but lots of life left. Sizes from 2 to 4

05.01.2022 My heart was shattered 16 years ago today when my amazing wonderful Dad passed away. He wasn't an actor or a celebrity, he was a teacher, friend, protector, encourager, influencer and a disciplinary, but most of all he was my Dad, our Daddy, He was our life, someone I looked up to, and someone I wanted to make proud. Cancer shatters hopes and dreams and it robbed my family of a caring loving father, husband, brother, uncle, son and friend.... My Dad was 49 years old when he was diagnosed and passed away from Stage 4 Pancreatic Cancer, and even today it is still considered incurable. The median survival rate is 3-6 months. The average diagnosis age is 70. Pancreatic Cancer is the 10th most common cancer in men and the 9th most common cancer in women. It is the 5th most common cause of cancer deaths in Australia. There is currently no screening for Pancreatic Cancer and as some of the symptoms are often day to day annoyances they often go unchecked. Some of the symptoms include: *Jaundice and related symptoms *Abdominal pain *Back pain *Weight loss and poor appetite *Nausea and vomiting *Gallbladder and liver enlargement *Blood clots *Diabetes This year it is estimated that 3599 people will be diagnosed in Australia with Pancreatic Cancer and sadly 3051 of these people will sadly lose their battle this year. I am still driving my family insane breathing, dreaming and living cans for Kokoda. If I can raise awarenes for just one family then this will all be worth it!!!!

03.01.2022 Hi guys, Today I was looking through Gumtree and stumbled across this add. This Gentleman is NOT collecting cans to trekk Kokoda raising awareness for Pancreatic Cancer. The add he has put on Gumtree is a copy and paste of Cans for Kokoda add. This guys has 5 different adds for reasons as to why he is collecting. Please be aware his cause is not for Pancreatic Cancer.... Cans for Kokoda wish you all had a fantastic New Year and may 2020 bring everything you need.
