21.01.2022 Inspiration for your next iso project with some friends or just turn it up and dance round the living room with the fam & fur babies

21.01.2022 Hi lovely people, even though it is a public holiday, we are open for reduced hours today. 9.30- 4.00 if you have any concerns please phone the clinic we are here to help or alternatively book an appointment book online. Otherwise have a lovely day

18.01.2022 To our Canterbury Vet community We are still open but our doors are now closed to humans, but not our furry friends! In our efforts to keep our staff and community safe and minimise the risk of human to human transmission of coronavirus we have instigated a patient drop off system. Luckliy cats and dogs cannot contract COVID-19. The key steps are:... Make an appointment as usual, but on arrival please remain in your vehicle and call the clinic to notify us of your arrival. A nurse will then let you know how to proceed in transferring your pet into our care. Your pet will be examined as usual by the veterinarian, who will complete the consultation with you over the phone. Our preference is to process all payments over the phone to minimise contact. If needed, we can bring an Eftpos machine outside to you. No cash is being taken at this time. For any medication or food orders, as always, we would appreciate you calling ahead so we can check stock levels (and order the products for you). We would also recommend processing payment ahead of pick up so we can simply deliver to your car on arrival. If you fall in to any of the following categories, we would prefer you send your pet to the clinic with a friend or family member. - You are positive for COVID-19 - You have recently returned from any travel - You are self-isolating due to contact (or suspected contact) with an infected person - You feel unwell If you are unable to arrange transport for your pet, please phone the clinic to discuss and make arrangements for an appointment on a case-by-case basis. If you need food or medication for your pet, we may also be able to arrange delivery to you. We want to continue to give you and your furry family the best care possible, but also need to protect our staff and the community. At this stage, we don’t know how long these measures will be in place but we will keep you updated on any changes. We appreciate your understanding during this difficult time. If the measures of individuals working collectively can save even a single life, it will have been worth the effort. We encourage everyone to follow all current advice on staying home as much as possible, and only leaving the house when absolutely necessary. We hope everyone stays safe and all your pets are enjoying the extra quality time spent with their family! As a community, let’s all work together to get through this crisis.

14.01.2022 PLEASE CUT THE ELASTIC IN HALF AFTER USE! For all those friends + family using these disposable masks... can you take a moment to cut the elastic ear loops be...fore placing them in the bin? Why you ask? Many of our beautiful wildlife, particularly those in waterways (like our beloved platypuses) get elastic bands and other ties caught around their necks, bills and limbs. Our next biggest challenge after covid will be trying to help all wildlife caught up in the environmental impact of disposable masks! Where possible, please buy cloth masks and help look out for our feathered and furry friends! With love

12.01.2022 COVID-19 update . We just wanted to reassure our cvch community/family that vets have been designated as an Essential Service. So even under the new stage 3 restrictions we can continue to provide services to you and your furry family.

09.01.2022 Clifford is finally home so happy for his family

07.01.2022 Note this is in NSW Springvale but keep an eye out as they sell them interstate.

05.01.2022 Lest we forget Our clinic will be closed for Anzac day today. We will be open Sunday 9.30am-12.30pm. #remember #staysafe #bekind

05.01.2022 To our wonderful clients We wish to assure you we are still running consultations and performing surgery. We are here for you and all your fur munchkins needs. We are known for our thorough exams and high quality service and we continue to provide this while evolving and complying with all recommendations. Veterinarians have been designated by the Federal Government as an Essential Service.... Apparently there has been a news story this morning saying that vets will only do phone consultations eith no exam and are not allowed to do surgery. This is obviously completely FALSE! The Vet Board recommends what we are currently doing, seeing the pets in person in a client free premises. There is no restriction and there will be no restrictions in the future on what procedures Veterinarians can do.. Enjoy some pics of some of the fur babies having lots of tlc while in a consult with a vet & vet nurse and our lovely clients on the phone Or video call. Thanks for helping us try and keep the community safe & all the animals well. #slowthespread #flatternthecurve #bekind #loveourcommunity #staysafe

05.01.2022 We are so grateful to this wonderful group Rescued With Love for helping us with these sweet little angels that unexpectedly came into our care, they will always hold a special place in all of our hearts

04.01.2022 Just a reminder we are closed Easter Friday, Sunday & Monday. We are open on the public holiday Easter Saturday 9am to 1pm if you need us. Stay safe, stay home & enjoy the quality time with your fur family.

02.01.2022 Clifford has been missing since 3pm Tuesday Please look out for him on your walks, he does not have a collar on (as groomer had apparently not put it back on yet) so he will need to be taken to a vet to have microchip scanned. Help reunite Clifford with his loving family.

01.01.2022 Community spirit & support. Stay positive. Essential outings only. #flattenthecurve #staypositive
