03.01.2022 SOME TURTLE-Y AWESOME NEWS OCEAN SAFARI’S SOFT RE-OPENING IS COMMENCING 13 JUNE!! ... Yep, that's right! Following the Queensland Government's three-stage plan to re-open Queensland, Ocean Safari is aiming for a soft opening to align with stage two, with the first date of operation to commence on 13 June! (Subject to any unexpected potential changes in the meantime that we are directed to by the government and health authorities). Although we will be running with reduced numbers to abide by regulations and health/safety requirements, we are now open for bookings! Douglas Shire Council will also be providing free travel on the Daintree Ferry until June 30th 2020. Stage two (from 12 June) allows Queenslanders to travel within the state, up to 250 km within their region, in time for the June/July school holidays! For our friends further away, restrictions will ease further from 10 July with the commencement of stage three. This is exciting news and we look forward to providing you with amazing reef experiences!
