To improve workflow, so our team can spend more time with you all helping you improve your health. ... 2. To build a second consultation room so our pharmacists can provide even more professional, private health services, such as vaccinations and blood pressure monitoring. 3. To create a workspace that our team feel proud to come to each day, to help add to their wellbeing. 4. She gave us some practical tips on creating an individualized self care plan and set us a monthly challenge to write a thank you note each week to improve our skills in gratitude. 10.01.2022 NSW Health has moved to a green alert and part of this change means their recommendations for face mask wearing for healthcare workers has changed. At this level, our team members will not be required to wear a face mask during normal patient interactions, but may put one on if a patient presents with respiratory symptoms. We will also be encouraging patients presenting with any respiratory symptoms to wear a face mask (we will have these available for free at the entry of ...the pharmacy) and will encourage those that meet the criteria for COVID testing to do so. The advice for worried families is to go to a testing clinic. There are currently 2 clinics, The Hospital Clinic on Ascot Rd, and Mittagong Health Care Centre. We intend to open a pop-up clinic today at the Moss Vale Show Ground. At this stage we have no confirmation of the opening times for this clinic. As soon as we have the information on the pop-up clinic, we will send through an additional email with the details, so please keep an eye out for this email. 08.01.2022 Are you or someone you know on a medication that is currently in short supply? From time to time normal supply of certain medications will come under pressure for a variety of reasons. The pandemic and port industrial action is adding another layer of stress to the supply chain. At Capital Chemist Bowral, we are fortunate to be a part of an amazing network of pharmacists whose purpose is to improve each persons health and wellbeing and sourcing hard to find medicatio...ns is one thing we love to be able to do for our patients. If you have been prescribed a medication and you are having trouble getting that prescription filled, drop in to speak to one of our pharmacists, or give us a call, 48612212 or send us an email [email protected] to see if we can help. We have a pharmacist in our Head Office who monitors predicted shortages and places orders to ensure we will have continued access to these medications for the affected period. Sometimes we do run out of particular items, but often we can find one of our Capital Chemist pharmacy’s has some surplus stock that we can post between stores to ensure your treatment is not interrupted. Sometimes the supply of certain items is interrupted for a prolonged period (I’m talking 6 months +) and in these cases we will offer to contact your doctor to discuss alternative available options with them that will suit your needs. You are not alone, we are here to help.
