18.01.2022 Last month our very own Lea McKaskill was asked to speak at the Fearless conference. This was a national conference all about starting the conversation on PSTD, discussing personal experiences, the impact post Traumatic Stress has on families and friends and living with hope. Over the duration of the conference different Allied Health Practitioners, Medical practitioners, Emergency services and first responders and many more shared an over view of current medical research, ho...w the condition can be treated and ways to destigmatize Post Traumatic Stress. Lea was asked to discuss and share her knowledge in this area with her many years experience working closely with defence patients, and the role of exercise as a form of treatment. This is a space we at Capital Rehabilitation Professionals are very passionate about and have been lucky enough to work very closely with current Defence members, Veterans, first responders and many more. We have some new and exciting things in the pipeline which will help us to better support our patients with PTSD under way. So watch this space..........
