13.01.2022 Hi all members, It has been quite a change for everyone over the last two months. Some of us have hopped into Zoom classes that are still going. It has been great to see members do so and to create connections with other instructors. With things opening up after the shut down we are sure everyone wonders when we will be back to formal classes at the school. Currently we are not able to recommence indoor classes. This is despite schools returning to teaching onsite. ... It is possible to train in small groups outside and some instructors are looking at doing so in small groups for Dan members. We will keep everyone posted on this page. With the way things are travelling it is unlikely we will be able to recommence classes until Term 3 in July. We look forward to being able to do so and to see everyone at the hall. If anyone has questions please contact us via email or messenger. In the Moo Duk Kwan Mark Koina

08.01.2022 Dear all, We hope that this message finds you well? It has been an immensely busy and testing year for many of us particularly with the COVID19 impacts. As you are aware government directives meant that classes had to cease at short notice, interrupting our grading cycle.... Zoom classes were available for those who could get online and attend and this meant that members could train with instructors around Australia. When restrictions began to lift towards the end of term 2 we looked carefully at opening our classes immediately. However it was felt that with the demands on instructors (who work in essential services) and the short amount of the term left that it would be best to delay and return with the start of the school term 3. We have in place a COVID 19 plan, please remember that as guidance changes so too will our requirements. Many opportunities presented themselves during this time and we hope that members and families were able to take advantage of them. This time with changes to many activities may be an opportunity for former members to return to classes and all would be welcomed back. We also understand that many have been affected by the isolation psychologically and/or financially. This is true also for the school having to meet ongoing financial commitments to keep operational - without generating income. It is important to look after our members and support the school in whatever manner we can. If you have concerns about anything please speak to me directly and if we can help in anyway to keep you all training we will do so. So lets all break out our uniforms and belts and come with energy for classes on Monday the 20th of July our class times are as they have always been KK's at 5:30 and others at 6:30. In the Moo Duk Kwan Mark Koina

07.01.2022 McMillin Jo Kyo (Melbourne) visited class last night along with Adamson SBN an Mr Sofoulis. Was nice to train together and then head out for a meal.

04.01.2022 Hi all, We hope that all of you are well and returning to normal activities as Canberra begins to open up again. We have been working on the plan to return to classing and are excited to announce that we will be returning to classes at the start of Term 3 2020 (Monday 20th of July). A COVID19 plan has been developed and we will have a few changes in class in order to meet the requirements these include, temperature checks, hand sanitiser, limits on partner work and marks on f...loors to ensure appropriate physical distancing. The instructors are all keen to see everyone back in uniform ready to go. Plan is available for all on our website link below. In the Moo Duk Kwan Mark Koina https://capitalsbd.weebly.com/

03.01.2022 Popped out to one of our students Birthday celebrations across the border near Dunlop. We all had a great time.

02.01.2022 Good Morning All. Firstly a Happy Fathers Day for all the dad's in the federation and all those who are father figures for others. That is part of the role of t...he instructor with the younger members. We hope that you all have a wonderful day with you loved ones. A shout too to my father today. Early this morning was the Zoom session on Sip Dan Khum 10. A great session and it was fantastic to see the international and national Ko Dan Ja again. This was the last in the series presented by Craig Hays Sa Bom Nim, with the support of Kwan Jang Nim. Thank you to you both for your time and effort to introduce these hyung to the wider membership. We look forward to sharing them further with the membership. See more

01.01.2022 Apologies everyone, despite our best efforts to keep people safe, the Government has advised that all internal sporting facilities will close from midday today. As such, we will not hold any classes. Please be advised that we are closing all classes until the start of term 2 or longer if advised. Please, contact us through phone, Messenger or email if you have any questions & to ensure we have current contact details. We will endeavour to get virtual training material out to... students who want to continue self training during the break. The TAC is working on this at a National level. For those who were due to grade soon, we will ensure that your progress is not interupted and plan to connect through virtual training. Please ensure that any dues are up to date, so we can return to classes in the future. Stay safe everyone and look out for each other through this difficult time. We are looking forward to training again with all of you as soon as normality returns. See more
