21.01.2022 A wonderful happy tail. A result of our Covid inspired Sponsor Program. Misty came into care with her 3 sisters. They were malnourished hissy little girls, scared of humans. With love and good food they blossomed, loving the attention they got from their foster family. Misty was originally named Pidgeon by her sponsor. She has now found love in her perfect forever home. Suncity will open from 12.30pm. Meals, drinks and Afternoon tea available! WINSTON has a cute meow and a loud purr. This handsome man likes to curl up on the arm of the lounge chair while you watch TV. He will also join you in bed at night. WINSTON has quite the appetite and is not fussy, just food and fast. He can be timid around new people but once he settles he is quite the loving boy. VICKI can be very vocal through her day to day activities, with her loudest moments being around meal time both morning & night. VICKI can be affectionate to strangers, however she may go into hiding if they are too loud. VICKI is currently living with another adult cat & although the two get along fairly well, the two sometimes have disagreements, so VICKI may be best as an only cat, or possibly with the correct introductions she may learn to play nice with other furry friends. SKEETA is a lovely gentleman who likes to nap but still loves pottering around outside and going in the car He loves his affection and receiving pats. Although SKEETA walks with a limp, it doesn’t slow him down and he can navigate going up and down stairs with no issues. He won’t argue about being carried though SKEETA is great with other dogs but untested with cats. He has a great personality and often have bursts of excitement when his person is arriving home or if you’re about to take him out on a little adventure! We appreciate your patience over the next week while our volunteers go through them all to see who is best suited to each pup's personality and needs. WINNIE HARVEY DAISY APOLLO MIA REGGIE OLLIE... 4 x Female (Winnie, Daisy, Mia and Reggie) 3 x Male (Harvey, Apollo and Ollie) Border Collie X Approx 7 - 8 weeks (as @ 13 November 2020) $295 each Welcoming another puppy litter to the CAA family, these pups are so excited to join their forever homes! Each of these puppies have settled well into their foster homes and are learning new skills each day. Being a working breed mix these puppies require regular mental and physical stimulation and would be better suited to families with other dogs for company. These pups are a blend of two different litters but each have their own qualities that will be hard not to fall in love with. These babies are gorgeous and we are expecting them to be very popular. We appreciate your patience as the team will be ensuring the pups will be going to the homes best suited to their personality and needs. These puppies will need to be socialised while they are still young so a home with other doggy friends or with people who are willing to socialise them is preferred. As with all puppies, they need a loving and patient home where they can grow and learn to be the best they can be. DISCLAIMER At CAA we provide required vet work for puppies including the first 3 x monthly vaccinations and desexing at 6 months. This work needs to be done at our preferred vets in Rockhampton or Yeppoon, therefore we are only able to adopt our puppies to persons living in the local area or who visit the area regularly enough to commit to these appointments. 01.01.2022 HAPPY TAIL POST... SALVADOR (Arlo) Another update from our little of 10, now seven months old! "Hiya! I have Arlo from the Jett/Barkley/Nathaniel litter! His name is now Salvador and he’s my giant baby! Definitely a mummy’s boy but is such a gentle giant, the opposite from his CAA adopted brother who’s a muscly little rocket. Loves to bring me toys as gifts and has a massive big boy bark when he’s on duty guarding! He’s an absolute angel and weighs close to 30kg now! He al...so has unique markings on his tummy which I’ve included an older photo of to show. I just love him so much and he’s brought so much happiness to our fam!" Thank you for adopting, Liz!

01.01.2022 Thank you to Yeppoon for their ongoing support in the way of donations! Our Coles bin typically receives this much in donations every 4 weeks! It was a particularly nice surprise to find some kitten food and kitty litter amongst it all!
