One of the events of the day was to draw the Mothers Day raffle which had been delayed by the non existence of club get togethers due to Covid-19. Here are the results:- 1st Prize was a Pamper Pack - M Black 2nd Prize Bucket of groceries Jill Sauer 3rd Prize Bottle of Wine Tom Kerr 4th Prize Crochet Rug - Ria Thursby Thank you all for your patience. It was encouraging to see that nearly all of previous year membership has rejoined despite the Covid-19 restrictions. Admittedly it may take sometime to get the club back to where we were, but i'm sure that with the enthusiasm of keeping the social and working aspect we will survive. Our band and entertainers are still having a get together once a fortnight at the moment with anticipation restrictions being lifted even more in the near future. The next date for this is Wednesday 26 August 6.30pm. Keep it COUNTRY - President Gordon

19.01.2022 Hi Ya'll, Well it's finally happened, we have a CDCMA Morning Tea Concert. Yippee-o-ki-yay WHEN:- Wednesday 16th December 9.15am. ... WHERE:- Frenchville Sports Club. Clifton Street, BERSERKER Doors open 8.45am via the main entrance. COST:- $7.00 per person (NO CONCESSION) BOOKINGS ESSENTIAL Limited Numbers due to the COVID-19 restrictions There will be a cutoff number of 100. The CDCMA Committee has decided to open bookings for Members and Partners first, and, depending on numbers, we will then open up the event to friends of members and then, if we don't have our required number it can be filled to the maximum (100). Those of you who wish to attend must book before the event. FOR BOOKINGS:- Please contact:- BRENDA CONSTABLE (Secretary) 4936 2049 or 0407 325 370. To book - the caller must give their CDCMA Membership number, and number of persons (wife/partner)s name to the CDCMA Secretary, of those attending. This is a requirement for the Frenchville Sports Club under their Covid Safety Plan and is needed a week before the day. (9th Dec) A Check list will be at the entrance to the event and a sign in register policed by our SHERIFF -Tom. Jean will be running a raffle with 6 prizes and a money board drawn during the morning. The round tables at the Frenchville Sports Club will be set for 7 persons per table, all seats facing the stage. To keep the cost for patrons down, Morning Tea for this event will be TEA or COFFEE and a COOKIE. This will be served by our members. I would ask those of you who have computers to print off a copy of this news and pass it on to those who don't have the communication that some of us do have. There is no excuse for the lack of communication among our members. We are, and, will always try to communicate information the best possible way to our members. Please be patient, we are still in troubled times and things don't always go the way that someone else thinks they should. Be helpful, and not criticise, because your friends haven't passed on information you think you should have. Because of the time allocated to us on the day, we will endeavour to provide the best entertainment for this ONEOFF EVENT for 2020. This is a one chance to have some great entertainment this year. I will update booking progress in a couple of weeks. Keep it COUNTRY - President Gordon
