12.01.2022 To our valued patients - Here at Capricornia Dental Centre we are committed to dentistry enhancing health and strive to provide our patients with the highest level of care. Part of this commitment is our developed response to the recent COVID-19 pandemic. Throughout these uncertain times we will endeavour to keep patients informed of national response protocols as well as information and guidelines produced by the World Health Organisation. ... Your safety, our safety and the safety of the community is paramount. At the moment we will continue to remain open and of service to our patients. However, we do ask that is you are feeling unwell or have returned from any overseas visits in the past 14 days that you advise us so that we can reschedule your appointment as per the current advertised guidelines. We will also be implementing new preventative precautions to ensure we are doing everything in our power to reduce the risk of COVID-19 spread. When you arrive for your appointment, you will notice some changes. We would like to ask that you wash your hands thoroughly at one of our wash stations when you arrive. You will also notice that the newspapers, magazines, books and children’s toys have been removed from our reception area. We will still be running our information and photo PowerPoint on the TV for your enjoyment. In addition to the above changes we will also be taking your temperature when you are seated in the surgery and asking you to complete a pre-procedure mouth rinse prior to your treatment. This rinse is a hydrogen peroxide mouth rinse which tastes and feels terrible but will reduce any viral load in your mouth prior to your treatment. 09.01.2022 I’ll be with you soon I’ve just been doing my yearly check up with the handsome Matthew and Beautiful Deb. You know when I was 16 I was told I would have no tee...th by the time I was 25 as they were so chalky, I’d be wearing false teeth. When we were growing up the only time we went to the dentist was when we were in pain and the Bex or Vincent’s powder put on the rotten tooth was becoming ineffective. Naturally teeth were pulled. I had to meet Dad at Col Parker’s in Inverell as he was the owner of the property we lived on Kashmir Nullamanna, by the the time I got to there I was so upset. Mr Parker. said Whats up dear I’m going to have all my teath pulled out he gently said You know, if you clean them correctly for the rest of your life, you’ll be fine So it’s so important to have your regular checkups especially going through Cancer treatment........regular check up can also pick up early detection of Cancer.....see you all soon See more
