08.01.2022 Dear valued patients To protect you, your family and our staff from the Covid-19 pandemic, we are following and adopting preventative measures from the Department of Health. We ask that you kindly reschedule your appointment if you are experiencing ... * fever * cough or flu like symptoms * shortness of breath * returned from overseas within the last 14 days, or * have been in contact with someone diagnosed with or testing for Covid-19 infection. Your privacy will be respected. IF YOU HAVE SYMPTOMS OF COVID-19 Call the COVID-19 hotline on 1800 675 398. They will provide you with further instructions. *Do not attend* the clinic without calling and making an appointment first. Attending your appointment * To facilitate maximum interpersonal distancing, your next appointment may need to be rescheduled/ time slot altered to minimize the number of patients in the waiting room at any one time. Please try to be punctual for your appointment and please limit to one extra person accompanying the patient * We ask additional family members to wait outside or in the car * For payments we request contactless transactions . We are trying to reduce cash transactions. Essential and non-essential appointments Essential: Patients with pain/ swelling / broken fillings needing adjustments/ ongoing periodontal care Non- essential: Routine checkups,cleans, veneers, bleaching Temporary Reception room changes * There are hand sanitizers located throughout the clinic, please help yourself before and after your appointment * We have removed all communal items that may be touched by multiple people throughout the day such as magazines, toys, brochures, coloring pens and textas. Infection Control * We have always used Australian Dental Association’s mandated cleaning and disinfection protocols for all surfaces in our treatments areas * We use ultrasonic cleaning pressure and heat sterilization of all our non- disposable instruments Additional measures * Your will be requested to rinse out your mouth with a disinfectant mouthwash on being seated in the dental chair prior to commencement of your appointment * We will be disinfecting commonly touched areas such as door handles, toilet flush buttons, pens at regular intervals throughout the day Your health and safety is of utmost importance to us. 02.01.2022 Dear valued patients In light of the recent developments around the Covid-19 pandemic, Mentone Dental considers the safety and well being of our patients, their families and our staff of utmost importance. In line with Level 3 restrictions and under guidance from the Australian Dental Association we are deferring all routine dental checkups, clean and treatment at our surgery till we return to normalcy ... We are open only for emergency dental appointments on Mondays 12-4pm and Fridays 10-2 pm. If you are experiencing dental pain or swelling or a broken tooth that is causing you problems, please call us on 9583 1234. Our office will be closed outside these hours but we will be attending your telephone calls Do not come in without an appointment, as our surgery will only be open for dental emergencies. You will be screened via the phone before coming in to the premises or for making an appointment We thank you for your support and and look forward to seeing you again at your regular check up appointments in the next few months.
