17.01.2022 Today the Royal Australian Mint in partnership with Saatchi and Saatchi announced that from September 2nd they will be releasing into circulation the Donation Dollar Coin. The ‘Donation Dollar’ can be spent like any other $1 coin, but when donated makes an on-going impact on the lives of Australian's in need. The program will aim to influence donation behaviours nationally and encourage all Australians to give all year round, smaller amounts, more frequently, to those who nee...d it most. These coins will be available ONLY through banks and within circulating currency and will not be available for purchase individually, including in rolls or in sachets from the Royal Australian Mint or its Distributors.
