17.01.2022 Went up to the cabin this weekend caught one small rainbow, scared a few didn't get up to the waterfall up the mountain , but will soon tried out a new crossing has a fish-way so it may be possible to target bass they are in the lower reaches of the river

17.01.2022 2 rainbow trout were knocked off last weekend and a few missed weather was good but very cold up the mountain.landed a few flathead at my secret spot on the way home good time held by all get in soon to book for next season as I will be in Cairns for a few months

15.01.2022 The Captain's Cabin

12.01.2022 went up to Foster for the fly meet and charity event (Foster Fly Muster) They raised over 7 grand towards the program (Check it out on the net) Mainly washed out by the rain Fishing was mediocre but locals said this was the way the area is now. Everyone had a fine time great fly tying was demonstrated and the free fly casting lessons went down well.... Off to the lodge next week with mates to fine tune the place

09.01.2022 Its final told my boss to shove it I am officially retired and will be taking people fishing full time

03.01.2022 Went up to the cabin over Easter and tried out some new waterways tried around Barrington Tops and the Kerrpit River and around Moppy. Fishing was slow but quite a few fish around.The water is still warm so the fish maybe sluggish Not far from the cabin so will be targeting the areas when The Gloucester River is quiet for guests. remember the season finishes in a few weeks so get in quick I will be shut for mothers day weekend
