25.01.2022 According to positive psychology, did you know that showing gratitude actually makes you a happier person? After the absolutely crazy months, we've all experienced in 2020, I'm all for more happiness! Right now I'm grateful for my boys being able to have a school sports day! The enjoyment they had competing with their friends and kids from other schools was heart warming. The support and sportsmanship they showed towards all other competitors made me proud. All the funny face...s and noises the made as they ran and jumped made me smile and so grateful that I was able to capture this special day for them. 20.01.2022 The absolute best part of what I do everyday is meeting new families and capturing their precious memories. Seeing the love and joy they have for each other and those cute smiles. 15.01.2022 Spring Is Here! Wow where has the year gone? Out the window is what I always tell my kids. Hopefully we are in for some warmer weather but if tradition hold true there are still some cold nights left yet. I can remember a few years ago, quite a few Ha ha I'm not telling you exactly how many, a girls got to have a few secrets. We had a huge frost just before Christmas, now that was a bit of a shock especially here in sunny central Queensland and especially when we were campi...ng out for the night without warm blankets and a coat. 14.01.2022 Being a mum, photographer and scrapbooker I see the need for getting regular printed professional photos of my family especially my kids, not just the everyday happy snaps especially the ones taken on a phone. Professional photos document the changes and growth in not just your children but your family as a whole. They capture these precious moments and changes for you, freezing them in time, creating and documenting a timeline of your life that can be shared for generations ...to come. Kids and family members love going through boxes and albums of photos, looking at how they have changed and grown throughout the years. I have heard too many stories of people losing all their precious memories professional and happy snaps because a USB, computer or phone has been lost or broken. So please print your memories, yes, your memories because that is what they are. These are not just photos, they are memories of you and your family and they deserve to be remembered. Most people are only to eager to grab photos or an album to look at but a USB, computer or phone is just quite often in the too hard basket or not an option any more because technology has advanced too far and you are unable to access them anymore. Remember that time when you weren’t backed up? Make your precious memories Priority #1 not #2. You don’t need to print every single photo - just the ones that matter. @albumregistry #DontShitGift

13.01.2022 Have you ever seen a newborn photo that you just loved and then thought "Gosh that is dangerous I'd never put my baby in danger like that!" "I hear you and totally understand!" But I would also like to sooth your fears as your babies health, safety and comfort always comes first, that I always take any photos in a safe position and environment with a parent or helper close by. For example the baby being held in the air on their parents Hands photo that most everyone loves is 100% safe and an illusion. Baby is safely laying on a beanbag with mum or dads hands under them, then the photo is tweaked in photoshop to create the photo you love.

09.01.2022 I thought I'd share one of those eye-roll, head slap and giggle moments with you that I had with master nearly 9 last night. Well, master 9 accidentally broke a cup last night and he and his brother cleaned up the mess no problem it's just a cup. When I was cooking tea later on he comes up to me and says "Sorry Mum I broke your cup"... "Which cup?" "Your Pink one. But don't worry Mum, It was getting old and just needed a Little Break!!!" Things that come out of the mouths of kids are just too funny sometimes.
