10.01.2022 In this work I tried to visualise my idea of reconciliation. The lines in this work represent the tracks made by our influential leaders and traditional elders to create pathways for us to follow towards a shared future. The many different lines and paths represent the many different people of Australia from all backgrounds and walks of life, coming together with Aboriginal people to walk these paths as one. The circles along the paths are unique, to represent the countless unique stories and histories across our country that exist within our Aboriginal nations that yearn to be shared. I imagine the circles as a place of gathering for the people on the pathway towards reconciliation to share stories, knowledge and history, creating a place to heal and learn together. Jasmine Miikika Craciuna proud Barkindji, Malyangapa girl.
