08.01.2022 Longest Day completed 72 holes Repost -> We made it! Last 18 holes in 2 1/2hrs, such a great experience and very happy to have done this with my best mate and 2 other top blokes! Overall Gross scores Paul 335 (net 311), Gavin 317 (Net 293) Anthony 332 (Net 292) and Steve 337 (Net 289), we are all winners.... I would also like to thank Carbrook Golf Club and Tony (Club Pro) for their support and allowing us to do this event, also to the members today that allowed us to play through them and keep us on track THANK YOU! Lastly a HUGE THANK YOU to all our supports who gave $ and help us raise nearly $2500 for Cancer research.

06.01.2022 Members please note that the Club will re-open tomorrow Tuesday 12 January. This includes the golf course and clubhouse. So if you have a tee time over the next few days it will be close to business as usual. We are permitted to:... Play in groups of 4 Share a golf cart (see recommendation below) However there will be some temporary restrictions in place: Our customer service staff will be wearing face masks Our members and visitors are not be required to wear face masks although if you have any concerns it is recommended you do so, especially when in and around the Clubhouse. You must be seated to consume food and beverage whilst in and around the Clubhouse you can approach the bar whilst maintaining social distancing You will be able to purchase drinks to be consumed on the golf course Social Distancing must be observed at all times when sharing a cart The Queensland Government strongly recommends you wear a mask when outdoors if you are unable to stay more than 1.5m distance from other people, as such it is recommended that face mask are worn if you are sharing a motorised Golf Cart. These measures are in place for 10 days until the 22 January. We appreciate your patience over the weekend and hope that all that frequent our Club can assist our Club in remaining compliant with these most recent restrictions. 03.01.2022 Hans Jebbink has been inducted as a Life Member of the Club last night at the Annual General Meeting. The motion was supported unanimously by those in attendance. Hans stepped down as the Vice-President at the AGM after 6 years on the Board; 3 as Director and 3 as Vice President. His significant contribution to the Club was acknowledged by Lex Kimlin and Peter Anemaat who proposed Hans as a Life Member. President Bruce Weston also praised Hans for his contrinution to the Club in many ways over many years. The members present at the Annual General Meeting applauded the decision to bestow the Club's greatest honour on the man who has done so much for the Club, however never wanted anything in return. On behalf of the Board, Members and staff of the Club, we congratulate Hans and welcome to this elite group.
