25.01.2022 Health Care Experiences of First-time Mothers who have Cardiac Disease Have you been diagnosed with cardiac disease before, during or in the first year after your first pregnancy? If so, we would love to speak with about what that experience was like for you. We are conducting this research because there is very little information or research about women with cardiac disease in pregnancy and it is important to know about women’s experiences so that the needs of pregnant wome...n and new mothers are met. The study is being conducted by the University Technology Sydney (UTS). It is being conducted as part of a larger funded study by the NSW Heart Foundation and it involves a phone conversation with our researcher about your experiences. The information is de-identified so your name and details are kept confidential and privacy is assured. If you would like to participate in the study or would like further information, please contact us by email: [email protected] mobile: 0414 977 687 email: [email protected]

23.01.2022 Westmead Hospital would like your help to improve patients experience of waiting for clinic appointments Waiting for clinic appointments is often a frustrating and unavoidable part of accessing health care. This time could be better used as an opportunity to increase knowledge, satisfaction with care, and motivate patients to make behaviour change that improves their health. We have been in touch with doctors at Westmead Hospital who would like to show lifestyle-focused educa...tional videos to patients while they are waiting for clinic appointments. They need help from members of the CMAA to better understand which videos are the most engaging and which ones may motivate patients to change their lifestyle. They would like CMAA members to review short videos, and provide feedback on them. How to become a video reviewer: Click on this link: https://redcap.sydney.edu.au/surveys/?s=XCC4C9X4P7 Enter your email address, and follow the step-by-step instructions. Your feedback is appreciated! If you have any queries please contact Daniel McIntyre at Westmead Hospital, on 0431 682 939 or [email protected]
