23.01.2022 Trailer hitched up, heading out to collect more Recyclable Cans & Bottles. Big thank you to Cardwell Care & Cardwell Churches of Christ. Happy to pick up any unwanted recyclable bottles & cans from your house or business or alternately, you can drop them off at the Shed anytime. This is our primary fundraiser & allows us to keep the Shed running.... We welcome new members - come over on a Tuesday or Friday morning & check us out. Membership $25 pa, prorated.

12.01.2022 The AMSA has recommended a temporary closure of Men's Sheds throughout Australia, the Management Committee wil meet this afternoon to put measures in place. We will keep you informed as soon as we get updates. We will also keep in contact with all our members on a regular basis to maintain the mateship that has been formed by being a member of the Shed.

07.01.2022 Great news, we are up & running again with all the social distancing regs in play of course. we are open Tuesday & Friday from 9am to midday. If you would like to donate your recyclable cans & bottles to us they would be greatly appreciated. you can either drop off at the Shed over on the footy oval or call us to collect. New Members are always welcome.

06.01.2022 Our Shed will be closed until after Easter, we will then have another Management Meeting to discuss further action, depending on the information provided to us. We realise that our shed is unlike many others, it is a large building separated in the middle by toilets and has plenty of space for each active member to work in without being inside the danger zone but we will be abiding by the AMSA recommendation. We are only closing the building not the Cardwell Shed, if you nee...d someone to talk to or if you are isolated & need help, please call us & we will do our best to help. Our Shed has grown from strength to strength & we will be back in full operation asap. We are definately still collecting recyclable CANS, BOTTLES & PLASTICS, & will be checking the Shed at regular intervals, so please continue to drop them off or if you prefer, we will collect from you. 05.01.2022 The Shed may not be ooen at the moment but Fundraising goes on. We are still collecting recyclable Cans & Bottles, they can either be left at the back of the Shed on the concrete (this is checked regularly, when we do our security checks on the building) or alternately please hold them for collection as soon as we are permitted to do so. A big thanks to all our wonderful supporters & we should like to wish you all a happy & safe Easter, stay well Cardwell.

03.01.2022 A big thank you to Clarrie Smith your donation to our Shed is very much appreciated. A wonderful legacy to your Son Mark who sadly passed away earlier this year aged 51. Mark's wood working tools & books wil be put to good use. It was great to meet you & be able to show you through our Shed. Thanks also to Tim for organizing & reaching out to our Shed to be the recipients of your Brothers Tools.
