20.01.2022 Be sure to come along dressed up in the Christmas Spirit for Cardwell's community Christmas celebrations. Best dressed boy and girl will be announced just before the screening of the movie. Cardwell Community Christmas Celebrations will be held on Saturday 12th December.... Another great family-friendly community event will be held down on the Cardwell foreshore. Here is the night's programme: 5:30pm: Old fashioned games to get us all in a festive mood, including tug-a-war, candy cane hunt 6:00pm: Acknowledgement to Country 6:10pm: Carols - the Cardwell Choir and children will be taking centre stage and lead us all in the festive sing-a-along 6:30pm: Winner of the Best Dressed Business will be announced 6:45pm: The man of the hour Santa is due to arrive 7:00pm: Community BBQ and Christmas movie on the big screen If there is rain we will move the whole event to the Cardwell Lions Hall. Supported by the Cassowary Coast Regional Council partnering with community COVID information COVID-19 distancing rules apply Contact tracing station will be at the entrance
