25.01.2022 What a cracking comp this months was. It was great to see some new club members coming in and fishing, one of them got themselves a 68cm reef Jack. But the seniors was taken out by Ian Walters with 75cm silver Nannie. Now the Juniors was a close one with a tie for first with a 58cm Nannie it came down to their second biggest fish and Jesse Lawrence just won by 3cm. Jesse also got a 110cm cobia, 103cm cobia and 102cm Spanish Mackeral. A huge congratulations goes to Laine Palmer who came second on the juniors and caught his first ever Coral Trout and red Emperor. Chris Stoter went in the rivers and caught himself a few Mangrove Jacks. Whilst the weather report was out it was a very eventful weekend with plenty of great fish being caught.

06.01.2022 Well what a fishing competition we had this weekend with the flathead challenge. The weather didn’t want to play the game and the flathead once again were in hiding. Once again the Palmer family are keeping their title as the Flatty champions. Yvonne took over Tony’s title with a nice 31cm flathead winning herself an $100 voucher and their son Laine Palmer took out the juniors with a 27cm flathead and scored a new ugly stick combo. Not only that have a look at the whiting they caught. Well done guys.
