25.01.2022 Today's joke.... A guy is walking along the beach, and finds a lamp. He gives it a bit of a shine, and out pops a genie. "Master, you have one wish" he says. The guy says back "Hey, I thought you people gave three wishes!". The genie replied, "well, you know, it's the global recession an' all....". So the guy thinks hard. Finally he says "I have always wanted to visit my family in Hawaii, but never could because of my fear of flying. I wish for a bridge from America to Hawaii... so I can drive." The genie replied, :Master, do you know how impossible that would be? The logistics, the structure and the depth of the pylons? There's just no way it can be done! You will have to ask for another wish." While disappointed, the man understood, so once again, thought long and hard. Finally he says "Genie, I have always had trouble with women, and not known what to do. I wish to be able to understand all women." 22.01.2022 Pets are so therapeutic for our lonely seniors in our Program. In Aged Care Services we care about the well-being of our participants. Chris, one of our volunteers, brought in his pup to visit. You were very well behaved Buddy.

13.01.2022 Melbourne Cup Race Game. Our Participants in Aged Care who are joining us for socialisation needs had a laugh seeing who would win. (Our Program Assistant couldn't find any toy horses so she used dinosaurs. lol)

07.01.2022 Our volunteer, Chris, brings flowers in every time he joins us. He's a true green thumb. Recently he gave each Participant a Rose to take home. He's so thoughtful. We appreciate you Chris

05.01.2022 We love a good laugh at Care and Share. Join us and find out..... And finally...It is with great sadness that I have to mention the loss of a few local businesses. A local Bra Shop has gone bust. A Mining Company has gone under.... A manufacturer of food blenders has gone into liquidation. A Dog Kennels has had to call in the retrievers. An origami book company has folded. An Aerial Installation company has called in the receivers. A Key Company has gone into lockdown. A Watchsmith has wound down and called time. An Iceland store has had its assets frozen. A Shoe Factory has been soled and employees given the boot. The Heinz factory has been canned as they couldn't ketchup with orders. The tarmac company has reached the end of the road. The bread company has run out of dough. The laundrette has been taken to the cleaners.
