CEA and Milcom are about to begin training in Certificate III in Telecommunication Technology (ICT30515) at our Arundel facility at 5 Byth Street. 21.01.2022 Skilling Queenslanders for Work participants have completed a major upgrade to the Op Shop on Macleay Island. Manager Tony Cotroneo said that the 11 participants completed a huge amount of work and made improvements to the building
19.01.2022 Work Skills Traineeship at Queens Park Tennis Club Twelve unemployed Queenslanders have commenced work at the Queens Park Tennis Club in Southport as part of the Skilling Queenslanders for Work initiative. Over the next few months these participants will gain skills in painting, building maintenance, landscaping and block work as well as receiving Vocational Training in a Certificate I in Construction.... Participants will also be introduced to job search activities, life skills and First Aid training.

07.01.2022 MG K3 being built at Arundel Another innovative project commencing at Arundel this week. The project has been designed for people who have been assessed as having mild to moderate disabilities.... The focus is on car component identification and participants will work patiently toward building the replica vehicle. 03.01.2022 Building a Lotus A course that provides students with a broad range of skills that automotive industry employers look for in young job applicants. Students will learn how to present themselves well and have interesting, relevant conversations during job interviews.... They will be involved in building a scale replica of a 1957 Lotus Seven Mk1, with a steel chassis and bright silver body. Elements covered include chassis, body, engine, gearbox, wheels, brakes, upholstery, electrical, suspension and steering. All students will be coached in speaking with confidence about the Lotus car project, and the skills they have developed. You will have a photo of you driving the Lotus in your Resume, along with photos of you working on various components.
