25.01.2022 Care Free treated - Unpotable Bore water,EC 3030. TDS 1900, very hard salty bore water, showing great results AFTER just 4 weeks at the Alice Springs Hockey Field. BEFORE CF it resembled a Salt Lake.Couch GRASS now growing vigorously in the SODIC soil + Hard Salt Scale on the spray cannons is now SOFT is easily removed. No Rainfall just CF treated water. In 4 weeks an estimate of 24 to 30 irrigation's with CF treated water. A CF75 installed on field pump + CF100 on Hockey Bore in,July 2019. Great job by Sherwin Owens Bullett Plumbing crew, included a new storage tank. Credit to Rex Mooney, Alice Springs Town Council. N.B.Care Free Conditioner has an Aust Soil Desalination Patent. 18.01.2022 Achieved an outstanding result with a CF installed at Glen Helen Lodge, treating their Exceptionally Hard Bore Water.Water Test Results CF Reduced Total Hardness by 86%. CF20 installed June 21, 2019, new HW unit on Block C. BEFORE CF T-HARD 1506 AFTER CF T-Hard 209. That is 50% Softer than Alice Springs Town Water Hardness is 400. 18.01.2022 This is an outstanding testimonial, as this grass continues to be irrigated by the Very Salty Piggly Wiggly Bore, over EC 3300. AFTER 4 months, new grass has grown in the severely salt damaged areas.It is now a beautiful lawn to be proud of. The water treatment began showing improvement AFTER 7 days. It has lowered the soil salinity & stopped the salt killing the grass, by leeching the salts away in the toxic soil. The CF has an Aust Soil Desalination Patent. A lab analysis ...rates the bore, as a Very HIGH Salinity Hazard, Very HIGH in Sodium. Salinity has been a big problem since the golf course was built. Widespread Salinity has been identified in a 2019 Turf Expert’s report on Alice Springs 12 sporting ovals; report recommends improving Water Quality as a PRIORITY before they all die.
