17.01.2022 Hi everyone! We'd just like to let you know we are remaining open for business to care for your furry family members during covid. Having said this, we have made a few small changes to our routine 1. Please read the signs on the door and billboard before you enter... 2. Please use the provided hand sanitiser prior to entry 3. We are limiting the number of people in the waiting room at any one time, and only one owner is allowed into the consultation room with out vet 4. Lucky last- please remember to wear your mask appropriately- unfortunately we cannot provide them, so you will need to bring your own. If you don't have a mask, a nurse will collect your pet from outside to bring them in for the vet to.examine, and we can talk to you on the phone regarding your pets status and to discuss the treatment required. If you have any questions at all, please dont hesitate to contact us on 3397 4664

16.01.2022 Wow! We'd love to say thanks to The Not Forgotten Ones Inc. , and a special thanks to Lale and Angie for the lovely cards and gifts! Nurse Daniela and Dr Laura often help out by donating their time to help desex and vet check the cats in foster care, before they find their furrever homes!

07.01.2022 Meet this little guy, 'Ripper!' As in, "you little ripper," the Aussie slang. He was named this as he was born so close to Australia Day. Ripper is the runt if his litter and was being pushed aside from his littermates. Because of this he is less than half their size! Another foster carer asked Dr Laura to take him on to hand rear to see if we can save him. 24hrs later he is much stronger and more vocal. Missing his mum and siblings, but at least this way he has a fighting chance at life!

04.01.2022 We loved working with Doggie Drawings by Lili Chin on this infographic. Why do you use a muzzle?

03.01.2022 The RSPCA is urging people to ‘snip the straps’ on disposable face masks after reports of wildlife entanglements. ABC News reported the case of an ibis in Queensland that was rescued after its feet became entangled in a face mask. This comes after another article on Science X, which detailed how the biggest impact of old face masks may be in the water, with conservationists alarmed at the flood of used masks, latex gloves and other protective gear finding their way into already contaminated seas and rivers. More than 1.5 billion masks made their way into the world's oceans last year, accounting for around 6,200 extra tonnes of marine plastic pollution, according to environmental group OceansAsia.
