17.01.2022 This Stockist Sunday we’re visiting Brisbane retailers Aly and Larry Ayliffe from Creative Alice located in Cleveland in the Redland Bay area, just out of Brisb...ane. Larry and Aly have been Annie Sloan retailers for five years including this gorgeous store that has been open for two years. Creative Alice is a mix of coastal, boho and Hamptons style. Whilst many of their customers have a love for beachy-white's, they sell the full range of Annie Sloan products and painting accessories as well as transfers, stencils, second-hand furniture and decorative knobs. You can also find cushions, lamps, baskets, napery, artwork, mirrors, clocks, shells, coral, artificial plants and flowers! Aly and Larry also custom paint for some very happy customers, and have recently opened a fantastic private painting studio where they look forward to once again holding regular workshops. Aly adds, Prior to launching our business, Larry was a chef and my background is in both hospitality and retail sales. My father loved antiques and I was naturally draw to them. I grew up in the gorgeous Adelaide Hills and was surrounded by beautiful antique pieces. Our shop started as a tiny space selling antiques, then we became Annie Sloan stockists and our current shop location is in the Redland Bay area of Cleveland in Brisbane. I have always had an artistic streak and I love interiors of all kinds! We are very customer-focused and source vintage and new items for our customers, offer custom painting services, and usually hold some really well-loved workshops. Currently, we are open Tuesday to Saturday and can take phone orders at any time to arrange delivery. Prior to the recent virus, Aly and Larry also ran a fabulous Creative Alice stall at the Camp Hill Antique Centre in Brisbane, but for now it’s in hibernation waiting to re-open to even happier Chalk Paint by Annie Sloan customers.
