23.01.2022 And let’s not forget the books ... perfect for days in isolation (). With our school fete being postponed (until Nov 29th) ... we figured now was as good a time as any to move the amazing donations that are currently in the hallways of the school .... all whilst still raising some much needed funds for our amazing inner city school! So ... with all this in mind, we’re running a second hand clothing, toys & trash’n’treasure stall before, during and after school both today and tomorrow this week!!!!! There are some amazing bargains to be had .... all kids clothes are $2, adult clothing $5 and feel free to make us an offer on all toys and trash’n’treasure! Trish and the ace office team are there to help out with both eftpos and cash payments, so come on down!!! #bookswillsavetheday #leestreetfete

23.01.2022 If everything had been normal, today would have been fete day! As you all know, things are far from normal, and given the current situation with COVID-19, we are so thankful to not be running our fete today, meaning we can keep our community safe! But fear not ... we haven’t given up yet!! We have decided to postpone our fete till November 29th and given that we have some incredible donations, we have also decided go ahead and run our fete Online Silent Auction ... which is n...ow LIVE!! https://app.galabid.com/leest/items Given the imposed social distancing, we think a bit of online shopping could be well timed, and also gives us a chance to promote the generous small businesses who have donated so kindly to our school and who also need some extra support in these uncertain times. 12.01.2022 Given the current situation with COVID-19 it will come as no surprise that our much loved Lee Street Fete (due to be held this Sunday) will be postponed. It is with great disappointment that we take this action as our parent community has been working tirelessly for the past few months to make it another successful day. The money raised on fete day is a large contributor to the school operating costs and, for such a small public school, it can be hard to find other ways to ma...ke up the shortfall. But fear not ... we haven’t given up yet!! We have decided to postpone our fete till November 29th, for a Spring time fete .... something we’re very much looking forward in light of the current events. Given that we have some incredible donations, we have also decided go ahead and run our fete Online Silent Auction ... which will launch THIS Sunday 22 March at 12pm and close on Sunday 29 March at 12pm. Given the imposed social distancing, we think a bit of online shopping could be well timed, and also gives us a chance to promote the generous small businesses who have donated so kindly to our school and who also need some extra support in these uncertain times. We realise this is an unusual and somewhat anxious time for everyone and we are encouraging our community to support each other through this time. It is powerful seeing a local community come together at times of crisis and we thank you for being on the journey with us!

11.01.2022 It’s Quarantine Hamper Time!! This is quite possibly one of the most EPIC packs our fete silent auction has ever seen! ... No one wants to be in the current situation we all find ourselves in, so to make things a little more bearable, we have pulled together a hamper filled with EVERYTHING you need for these isolated times!!! Valued at over $500, this pack includes essentials such as, hand sanitiser, toilet roll, tissues, pasta, rice, paper towels & tinned vegetables! And for your entertainment, we’ve also included the important items such as jigsaws, chocolates, prophylactics and .... wine! We’ve got a signed vinyl copy of King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard's "Paper Mache Dream Balloon" and a signed tour poster up for grabs now in our silent auction!
