25.01.2022 I’m excited to share the design of the Northern Territory Gender Equality Statement of Commitment, published by Territory Families. The document is a commitment to creating a Northern Territory that is fair, inclusive, equitable and safe for all Territorians. Now that’s what I call design for a good cause

Steeline GRP are a Territory owned and operated business, so we included an infographic to show just how many ways Steeline GRP support the local community.

24.01.2022 I created these florals in Procreate earlier this year for a lovely bride to be, for her to use on her wedding invitation website. Could my job be any more fun?

22.01.2022 ANNUAL REPORT DESIGN Together with creative pitches, the Julalikari Council Aboriginal Corporation’s Annual Report was fun to design, with great artwork and photos to work with. I have always loved designing annual reports and publications, and this was one of my favourite projects last year!

19.01.2022 The past few months have been packed full of exciting projects, I just haven’t found the time to share them! I have worked with creative pitches on several designs for their clients this year, so I was super excited when Melissa wanted to rebrand creative pitches with a 70s feel to it, and a colour palette and pattern she could use across all her designs for a consistent brand. This was such a fun branding project, and I loved the ideas that Melissa brought to me. If you n...eed help preparing winning tenders, Melissa is your gal! #graphicdesign #logodesign #branding #darwinaustralia #creativepitches

16.01.2022 From our first meeting about Amanda’s new business venture, I couldn’t escape how passionate she was about becoming a marriage celebrant. I had so much fun working with Amanda on her branding, and after completing 12 months of study, she is now taking bookings! If you are getting married, you need this woman narrating your awesome love story! 16.01.2022 My thoughts are with those who have been affected by COVID-19. Please keep informed, using legitimate sources of information. And please, please support local businesses. They need you to help them get through this time. Many businesses are adapting to the restrictions, some restaurants are offering services like takeaway and delivery. Personally, supporting local, small businesses seems like a great excuse to avoid the bare shelves in the supermarkets! ... Be kind

12.01.2022 A fun and playful design created this year for COTA NT’s Seniors Month Calendar!

11.01.2022 The lovely Eileen from Clove Tree Hill in Bali contacted me after being recommended by a friend (thank you Sharon!) Eileen was looking to give her marketing materials a more polished look. She already had a gorgeous logo (which she illustrated herself - amazing!), fonts, colours and some absolutely stunning photos, so there was no shortage of inspo! We amped up the designs by creating shapes from the lines in the logo, which were used as a watermark on the business cards, and... to display the photos on the pull up banner. There was no need to rebrand, just to use what we already had and give it a stronger design, which can now be used across other designs. Have a stalk of their page, you’ll be booking your next Bali trip in no time! So grateful to work with beautiful souls and for every recommendation

10.01.2022 BRANDING I already loved my Little Miss V Beeswax Wraps so was suuuper excited to be asked to design Anna’s logo, and even more excited to include a gorgeous grevillea in the design (who doesn’t love native florals). Anna is always introducing new environmentally friendly products so go over and follow her to see which markets she is at next!

09.01.2022 Recently, I was engaged by NT Major Events Company to create an event brand for the exciting light sculpture exhibition taking over Darwin for six months starting 1st November. We also worked on an exhibition map and some illustrations which are being used to promote Tropical Light Check out the amazing exhibitions Bruce Munro has already created and you’ll be as excited as I am to see this! "Carly is one of those designers who is a joy to work with. She brings the brief to life perfectly, delivers on time (or in advance) and is easy to communicate with" - Kathy Burns, Director, Arts and Culture

07.01.2022 PICAC NT I was engaged by COTA NT to develop a brand spanking new brand for their PICAC NT program, who provide a voice for culturally and linguistically diverse seniors and their families in the Territory and advocate on their behalf to ensure their well-being. The brief was to show multiple rings of arms embracing, seen from above, using the COTA NT colour palette. The branding was applied to a suite of marketing materials, including a pull up banner, poster, brochure, web banners and a bookmark.

05.01.2022 Lovely to start a new week with kind words from superstar clients coming into their 2019 Seniors Expo!

05.01.2022 The 2020 Seniors Month Calendar is out now! I always have fun designing this one, and this year we went for a bold palette and some custom lettering for the event brand. For stockists of the printed calendar, or to view the online calendar, go to www.cotant.org.au/informat/seniors-month/seniors-month-2020

03.01.2022 Today is a hugely significant day in the history of Darwin and aviation. It has been 100 years since the Great Air Race’s winning Vickers Vimy aircraft landed in Darwin on 10 December 1919, piloted by Ross and Keith Smith over a 28 day flight. These signs in Fannie Bay’s Giles Street (the landing site) and Aviators Park showcase the great race and the history of aviation in Darwin, and I am proud to have designed them!

03.01.2022 I feel like it is impossible to get bored as a graphic designer. There are always new things to unleash your creativity on. This time, I was asked to design a label for one of my favourite foods, quince paste! And this one is a beauty, made locally and stocked in Parap Fine Foods. More delicious products to be released soon! Thank you Elevated Boutique Darwin for another lovely referral.

02.01.2022 I’m sure all business owners want to use their skills to give back somehow, and when I saw a friend share a gofundme link on Facebook for her friend who had an amazing idea, I jumped at the chance to donate my time. Heidi wanted to write a book to share the stories of parents who had grieved the losses of their own babies, to help newly bereaved parents cope with their losses. It was an absolute honour to design this book of 16 letters, all of which are brave, heartbreaking ...and beautiful. If you would like to purchase the book for yourself or a loved one, please email [email protected]. Books are $20 each + $5 postage. All profits received by the foundation will go towards donating books to hospitals to be given to newly bereaved parents. Congratulations Heidi, this book will help so many people.

01.01.2022 Introducing Arley Rae Australia: I am so excited to share this brand I designed. When you get the dream brief to create a hand lettered script logo for an epic rebrand of an existing Australian saltwater crocodile leather products, it is the ultimate #designgoals. I couldn’t be happier that my design business has lead to creating brands of this scale. Their store in Mitchell Street has just been renovated, expanded and reopened in collaboration with Matt Wright and is such a beautiful space, credit to their use of amazing local suppliers.
