05.01.2022 I’m not a public speaker.. a story I’ve been telling myself for too long! Here I am connecting with a live audience, just the way I aim to do on radio & TV every other day. For too long, I’ve been telling myself (and anyone who’d listen - so terrible!) that I don’t have this skill.. when in fact, I do. ... Amazingly, it’s been working with my #ConfidenceonCamera clients to bust their fears around being in front of the camera, that I came to realise just how limiting this story has become for me. And over the weekend, I don’t mind telling you, that I crushed it. Reframed the sh*t out of my attitude around my ability to share my story on stage, left my pesky attachment to perfection at the door, and just talked. As a friend reminded me this week, it was Winston Churchill who said attitude is a little thing, that makes a big difference. It sure, bloody does Winston, it does.
