25.01.2022 ANNOUNCEMENT: The North West Motorcycle Association would like to reassure NW riders and clubs that Round 1 of NWMA Chamionship 2020 will be going ahead at Newm...an Mx track, April 4th. We are closely monitoring the governments updates regarding events and gatherings and believe that both Newman MX and NWMA can comply with current regulations to ensure safety of participants and volenteers while also providing a full days racing. These are challenging times and both clubs feel that is importants to provide something positive for the MX community to focus on. Current advice deems essential personal to be race participants, volenteers and pit crew. This means as a MX community we need to work togther support our host clubs who would usualy run a full canteen and bar to support the clubs financial situation. Please think about how you as a participant can contribute to Newman MX having a succesful round by reducing your BYO in the pits and taking advantage of the bar and supporting an absence of free rider meals. Both local govt and MWA have been consulted in regards to running this event and the club will be following the stringent guidelines that include no cash handling (eftpos only), plentifull hand washing facilities and holding riders brief in an open outdoor area. NWMA and Newman MX will be monitoring any changes to govt requirements and updating participants frequently. RIDER NOMINATIONS: Please be patient as we are experiencing a temperary issue with Register Now and the NWMA account. This should be resolved Monday. NWMA MEMBERSHIP: We understand these are tricky times and a lot of us are concerned about how our financial situations may look like in commig months. Due to the uncertantly of the season, NWMA is waiving the full one off membership payment fror the year and will be introducing a "pay as you go" system of $10 per rider per event. To keep it simple, this will be incorperated into the race fee for your first class each round. This will also allow those of you who require MWA day license for newman to keep your costs down. RIDERS: No changes for you!! Please enjoy the day and ride safe. Please be patient with us as we navigate through these times, but be assured that while curent restrictions allow and we can comply with the current medical advise for events, we will continue to race throug the proposed 2020 season. See you in Newman The 2020 NWMA Committee

22.01.2022 Hi everyone, the 2021 committee have decided to switch to a Facebook page rather than a group for all future correspondents with registrations, events etc and t...his gives the club one message box for committee members to be able to respond to any inquiries. The group will still be left open for members to be able to communicate also!! Please feel free to invite anybody you feel would like to keep up to date with some exciting things happening at the club! See more
