25.01.2022 Good Morning Church ! 2021 is well underway and here is what's starting up in the life of our church this week: Food Parcels start back again today!... My Kids Rock start on Friday, 5th Feb Kids Church on Sunday from 9:30am 7th Feb, kindy to year 4 aged children. This will be run monthly during the school term If there is anything that you would love to be a part of, please come and see Pastor Brenden or Gail. There are many things that you can be a part of, you will be a blessing and you will also be blessed! It truly is a joy to serve in the house of God, try it! Love you church, keep shining and showing Gods love. "... we are like the various parts of a human body. Each part gets its meaning from the body as a whole, not the other way around. ... 23.01.2022 COMMUNITY SPIRIT SHINES A big thank you to the Pastors of the Carnarvon Church of Christ, Brenden and Gail Law-Davis and their dedicated Church family who ...continue to work tirelessly and keep on giving so generously to our Community in so many ways. A food program known as H.O.P.E In our Community (Helping Other People Eat) is run by the Church of Christ, with volunteers gathering basic essential foods such as milk, bread, pasta, rice/cereals, beans and fruit and vegetables depending on availability and filling food parcels. This vital program which many in our community may not know exists is only made possible as a result of the generous donations made by local businesses, local plantation owners and individuals, providing food and financial giving to assist those in need. An enormous increase in demand for these food parcels over past months reflects just how difficult times are and how important these generous volunteers and donors are to our community. I would urge anyone who is able to spare some food items or time, to drop into the Church of Christ on either Tuesday or Thursday from 9.30am to 12pm and help this wonderful hard working group provide those in need with basic food necessities which many take for granted. With Christmas rapidly approaching and often a difficult time for many, if you are able to assist the Carnarvon Church of Christ family please drop into the Church or make contact and your support will be greatly appreciated by everyone.
