21.01.2022 Hello and thankyou to those who have recently liked this page. Summer is providing longer days of natural light with this I'll be venturing out of the studio to draw and paint 'plein air' as we call it. I think this will defiantly show a change in the work produced..may even see insect parts and grass in the paint..It will be challenging. I'm now thinking of Turner strapped to the mast... that won't be me
14.01.2022 I'm very excited to share with you my new studio. As a result of this I'll be posting from now on my new Face Book page "Carol Barnett Artist" (and not this page) also the same title on instagram for those that already use it. Thankyou for sharing in the love of art by supporting this page. These pics are a small taste of inside and out the studio. But before I settle in for the cooler Tasmanian months I'm off to Cradle Mountain for a 2 week artist residency. .So look on my new page for images and impressions from the mountain!

01.01.2022 You are all invited to attend this event in the beautiful colonial home on the grounds of Woolmers estate. Enjoy a glass of wine or 2 and delicious nibbles while viewing (or bidding for) a painting by live and silent auction! Five of the numerous paintings are my work. I'll see you there btw..artists are really friendly and love a social night out!! I'm sure you'll love the sandstone verandah with views out over the Norfolk Plains. .(byo camera for sure)
