25.01.2022 Ghost of a rainbow... Driving home yesterday afternoon after a full day of photo shoots I could see the faint colour of a rainbow in the clouds... couldn’t resist and caught this just before another burst of rain came through. Sure is the best consolation for such cold, and wet winter weather!

25.01.2022 The best coastline in WA!

25.01.2022 Well, I'll be honest, I was really hoping for a ripper sunrise this morning because I missed both sunrise and sunset yesterday and really wish I'd been there! They were both absolute stunners. I think I won anyway, I meandered from this spot down to Mistaken Island, just enjoying the quietness of a new day, where all is well in the world... and boy, do we need that at this time!

24.01.2022 ‘At One’ Crisp May mornings in Albany often bring still waters, and beautiful fog. All you have to do is get up to witness the loveliness! - - -... 1st pic is just the photo 2nd pic is what the photo could look like framed See more

24.01.2022 - The basics of Nanarup -

24.01.2022 - Harbour magic - With a bit of in camera trickery, the ordinary is made extraordinary :-) It was pretty windy in the harbour, on a boat but no huge waves like this!

24.01.2022 'Walk by the Kalgan' It was a bit cloudy today wherever I went, but just nice enough to get some aerial work completed for clients. Sometimes, there’s a nice shot to be grabbed as a side note Lots of beaut blocks going on the market, right by the river... Looks like we may get a bit of sunshine tomorrow, busy days ahead :-)

21.01.2022 The Stirling Ranges are such an amazing landscape, forever changing and has it’s own micro-climate evolving around it 24hrs a day. I would love to camp for a couple of weeks and really explore them some day... they are so full of spirit.

21.01.2022 Edge of illusion Is it a shadow or is it a tree?

21.01.2022 I had some great news this morning. A couple of years ago I joined the AIPP (Australian Institute for Professional Photographers) as an emerging photographer. I haven't entered any comps for a very long time but earlier this year I did and I was delighted to find out that one of my images has made it to the top 25 as a semi finalist in the "Newcomers" section of the AIPP Silver Lining Awards 2020. I get to display a special logo on my pic :-D If you'd like to see some amazing, world class photography, check all semi finalists entries in all the categories - a lot of work to aspire to! https://aippawards.com.au/silverlining/sla-results/

21.01.2022 Early morning harbourside...

19.01.2022 Still here, just doing commercial photography work and caring for aged family! Missing getting out and exploring our beautiful region Hope you’re all fighting fit!

17.01.2022 White sand, blue water, sunshine

16.01.2022 Stunner of a day here on The Amazing South Coast! Will you look at this coastline, the colour of that water and yes, that's Albany in the distance :-) Perfect day for this birthday girl xx

16.01.2022 ~Taking off~ Something a little different. Inspired recently by the egrets I've seen early morning on the harbour that fly off the moment you even look at them. Always looking so graceful, despite their haste.

14.01.2022 Hey there - how's everyone going? I was out and about today on shoots and had the drone up in Goode beach doing a block that's about to go on the market... right on the beach. Imagine this pretty much on your doorstep... the water was amazingly blue today

13.01.2022 'Marina' Sometimes, you just need to capture the essence of a moment you’re experiencing... in camera

13.01.2022 'Three Bushes' I know, I know, there have been many spectacular sunrises and sunsets lately (I've seen loads of them on my newsfeed) but this isn't one of them! This is an abstract aerial from the Pingrup area. I think it looks like a magical tree myself, lit up against a dark sky (but of course it's not)...

10.01.2022 Breaksea Island It was all about the colour on the horizon this morning before sunrise. It didn’t last long but it was worth it just for a couple of long distance shots! Thought it would be nice to trek out before the big weather front hits. Stay safe everyone xx

08.01.2022 Watching the sea light up was beautiful...rain clouds in the distance and a gentle breeze. A new day was born.

08.01.2022 'Swan Lake' (cont. series) May mornings, stillness and calm as the fog burns off and swans gracefully glide by...

08.01.2022 Postcard perfect! Yesterday I was also over this way too (yep, hitting all the best spots!)... Midds was absolutely glorious and all the construction works coming along nicely. Days like this, make all the bad weather days totally worth it! Where's your favourite spot?

07.01.2022 Just a tad windy and wet in Albany today with a good dose of thunder, a bit of hail and then there was the 10mtr swell. I joined the many people checking out the Gap today, soaked to the skin, barely able to walk against the wind. Way too much water when the waves broke against the rocks to get a photo of it with the good camera... did get a few shots like this looking the other way though. The sea was amazingly deep in colour as it surged and heaved away - so much energy!

05.01.2022 Shipwreck! I had an urge to do long exposures today, and ended up at this favourite locale because who doesn't love Elvie the shipwreck?! A tad on the grey side today but meh, sunshine is maybe over-rated at times :-)

04.01.2022 Reflection This was too lovely to drive past (I nearly did but turned back). The light was beautiful and the water so still. A short break here yesterday really revived me on another busy day. So lucky to be in such a lovely part of the world.

04.01.2022 Another from Goode Beach... slightly different movement with my camera giving a different effect. I really look forward to getting home when I've been taking these kinds of images because I'm never quite sure what I will find... it's such fun and often conveys better how I felt about what I was looking at and experiencing and I love the painterly feel.. These would look amazing printed onto canvas.

04.01.2022 Goode Beach vibes today were clouds, pastel blues and aquas, soft gentle waves and a bare breeze...

02.01.2022 'Come to the light' ... Today, I really wish I was heading off in this boat for the day! Have a wonderful day everyone :-)

01.01.2022 The Gap The churning water at The Gap is mesmerising and almost exhausting as you feel the energy crash over and over and check out the deep blue colour of the water - love it!
