19.01.2022 One of my first projects and still a personal favourite @kafeine_balmain Situated in a prime location, the venues interior was tired and was in need of a refresh. Our brief was to transform the space into a fun, thriving venue where all the locals would want to gather. We engaged the talented @lynesandco to hand paint vintage style signage, we used 100 year old Oregon timber salvaged from the Tempe tram sheds for the counters and furniture we stripped back the yellow f...loors, stained them walnut and waxed them to give a matte finish. we nailed our brief because Kafeine remains to be one of the busiest venues on the Darling St strip On relaunch day, a gorgeous staff member hugged me. 16.01.2022 Looking back to when we activated Hyde Park for Good Food Month. Our inspiration was a Palm Springs inspired house party. We created a 300 seat restaurant out of a marquee.
