24.01.2022 Don't forget to post your marriage survey
23.01.2022 Flower Nannas What a great idea!
22.01.2022 People often want a way to include their loved ones, who have passed on or who cannot attend, in the ceremony. Here's an idea - carry them with you in your bouquet.
20.01.2022 That didn't happen at rehearsal!
18.01.2022 You can get dressed up and have a huge party but that doesn't make you married. You can have the flowers and the cake and the attendants but that still doesn't make you married. It's the ceremony that makes you married. The ceremony actually changes your state of being. Before the ceremony you are single people. After the ceremony you are a wife or a husband and together you are a married couple. How does that happen?... I am a Celebrant and I know but I can't tell you because it's a secret. Oh, alright, since you asked so nicely, I'll tell you - It's actually magic! See more
18.01.2022 A big Thankyou to all my gorgeous friends who have liked my page
16.01.2022 Congratulations to all the SS couples who were married overseas. Your marriage is now officially recognised in Australia. Thousands of marriages in an instant!
14.01.2022 Ain't love grand? It's not just about the wedding, it's the loving relationship! https://www.youtube.com/embed/P573Rh04kjE
12.01.2022 This is my gorgeous Mum and Dad on their wedding day in 1946
10.01.2022 There is much confusion at the moment about whether your wedding can go ahead. Civil wedding ceremonies are allowed but have now been restricted to 5 people only and only one person per 4 sq meters of floor space. This means only the two of you, two witnesses and your celebrant in 20 sq metres of space. Social distancing still has to be observed and definitely no hugging, kissing etc. This is true for outdoor weddings as well. You can see that this will take a lot of the joy ...out of the occasion but we absolutely don't want to risk anybody's health. Some couples are choosing to have a small (legals only) ceremony now with just the 5 allowed people and planning a celebration ceremony and their reception/party for later when the venues are open again. Others are postponing their marriage ceremonies and everything until later in the year. The difficult choice is up to you two but we celebrants are legally obligated to adhere to legal advice. Please don't ask us to bend the rules for you. I am more than happy to officiate your ceremony within the current legal restrictions or help you to start planning your dream wedding for when this is all over. Spread love not fear. See more
09.01.2022 You filled in your marriage survey, you put it in the car, thinking "I'll pop that in the post next time I'm out" - and it's still floating around in the car isn't it? Well when do we ever go to a letter box? You're right - never! This week is your last chance to post it if you want your vote to count. So make an agreement with yourself - next time you go to the supermarket, you'll post the survey. Supermarket - Survey. Right! Good one

07.01.2022 What a joy to marry this lovely couple. Their love story began right back when they were 16. Now they are finally married. Congratulations Mandie and Paul
02.01.2022 Just a reminder: You must lodge your Notice of Intended Marriage with your Commonwealth Registered Marriage Celebrant at least one month before your wedding ceremony. I know you can get tied up with everything else you have to organize, but without this you cannot be legally married. Don't leave it til the last minute. Find a celebrant who you click with early and relax... It's going to be awesome
