21.01.2022 So here we have @beckyhorror the winner of my client of the month for October, she won herself a $100 gift card to Rebel and I believe she has already used it. This decision was very easy to make given the enormous transformation Becky has undergone this year. Becky has gone from someone who never would have looked twice at a gym to someone who struggles to stay away from the gym for more than a day and her results are a direct reflection of this. Its an absolute pleasure... being your trainer Becky and I look forward to seeing what else we can achieve in the future. @snapfitnessmaroochydore @ Maroochydore, Queensland

21.01.2022 A huge congratulations to @theemmieobrienbrown for this phenomenal transformation! I have been working with Emmie since September last year and it has been an absolute pleasure to be part of this journey with her. Since day 1 Emmie commited 100% to her training. Despite having 2 small children to look after at home she would not allow any excuses to sneak in and stop her from pursuing her goals! ... Even with this awesome achievement Emmie has no intention of slowing down and I am so excited to see what 2020 has in store for her. Swipe right to see where Emmie started. If youre ready to commit to your 2020 goals and make a change as Emmie has, I would love to hear from you. @ Sunshine Coast, Queensland

21.01.2022 Morning Motivation

21.01.2022 "I dont have enough time to train!" The most common excuse I hear as a trainer. This is probably one of the biggest lies we can tell ourselves, especially when we have examples throughout the world of incredibly busy people who still find the time to dedicate to there health and fitness. When you say to yourself "im too busy" what youre actually saying is "Its Its not a priority."... If you are genuinely interested in changing your life and are ready to take the big step to developing a healthy body and lifestyle do not hesitate getting in touch. 2020 is going to be the best year yet for the Carson Fitness Crew!

20.01.2022 Next time you run into a roadblock with your health & fitness dont just turn around and hope that next time it will be different. Come up with a solution so that next time you know how to overcome it. Write down the problem and brainstorm ways around it. If you truelly want it you will figure it out, if you dont... well the excuses will keep coming. Now go get it!

20.01.2022 If you screwed up yesterday, you over ate, you didnt stick to your training routine, you made excuses. Dont drag it into today, start fresh and give it another crack.

18.01.2022 In times like these keeping a strong mindset and a strong drive is more important than ever.

18.01.2022 Motivation typically does not appear out of thin air. If you are lying on the couch watching Netflix wishing you had the motivation to get up and exercise, dont stay there and keep waiting. Take a small action, get up, put your gear on, throw on your shoes, walk out the door. It is through these small actions that the motivation will begin to develop. Once you're out the door it is unlikely you will turn around and walk back in. Now go get it!

15.01.2022 Put in a poor effort and you will achieve poor results, give it everything youve got and you will achieve something amazing.

14.01.2022 Ok... time for a filtered shirtless photo followed up by an irrelevant post. But lets get serious. Lets talk training intensity. If you are doing everything right with your training & nutrition and still struggling to see progress then this may be the next thing to look at. Simply put, when we are training we are trying to place enough stress on our body to stimulate an adaptation. If you are not pushing yourself to the correct level of intensity then there is no requirm...ent for an adaptation and thus you will likely stand still with your training. Here's a simple practice you can use within the gym to test how hard you are truelly training. Pick an exercise and the same weight you have been using within the gym for your working sets, in this example lets say you have been doing it for 10 reps. Now conduct that exercise but this time take it to complete failure, dont stop at 10 or whatever the rep range may be. Only stop when you are physically incapable of moving that weight. Now once you've done this if you managed to achieve: - 10-12 Reps then this is probably the perfect weight for you it means your working around a 1-2 RIR (Reps in reserve). - 13-14 Reps, this is a 3-4 RIR which is borderline too light of an intensity and should be reserved for de-load weeks. - 15+Reps, then you are holding too much back in your workouts and you need to give it more. Every time you conduct a set when training you should be thinking about the intensity. Always asking yourself, "how mamy more reps could I have done had I taken that to failure." If its outside of that 1-2 range then increase the weight and go hard. Disclaimer, make sure you have a spotter in place if you choose to do this.

14.01.2022 High Carb, Low Carb, Keto, Carnivore, Vegan, Vegetarian or Paleo. Trying to figure out what is the diet that works is one of the most confusing and difficuilt aspects of health and fitness that many people struggle with. Im here to let you know, it doesnt matter! At its core, losing bodyfat effectively requires four things. One, you must remain in a caloric deficit consistently for a significant period. Two, you must ensure you eat a high protein diet in order to retain mus...cle mass whilst your body is catabolic. Three, an increase in energy expenditure through exercise wether that be resistance training or cardiovascular training will increase the size of the deficit in order to lose more body fat. Four, 80% of your nutrition should come from quality whole foods e.g vegetables, fruits, nuts, beans, fish & meat. Thats it! The best diet is the diet that works for YOU! The diets mentioned above can be utilized if they are what works for YOU, but if they do not then choose the foods that work for YOU. If we choose diets that we find too restrictive then this will lead to us not enjoying the process and likely giving up before we have achieved our goal. See more

Each month I run a mini challenge within my group of clients, this challenge focuses on consistency within all aspects of training and nutrition. Bryan remained 100% consistent with his training program and nutrition targets almost everyday of the month and the direction he is taking his fi...tness, strength and physique are a product of this regular hard work. Love your work Bryan, youre a perfect example of why consistency is the key to success.

Thomas gets all of his sessions done each week whether he is feeling it or not. He has very quickly learnt that motivation comes and goes where as discipline when developed can always be relied upon. Love your work mate! Can't wait to see what else you will achieve this year.

11.01.2022 You are in the situation you are in because of decisions you made, habits you developed and mindsets that you set in place. If you want to change you must own this, accept it, then identify the steps you need to take to move forward. Now go get it!

10.01.2022 Plan your days to avoid excuses!

10.01.2022 Too often do I see people walking into the gym punching out a workout then returning home to resume a unhealthy lifestyle and yet sitting there expexting to see awesome results. Probably not going to happen. The reason you are where you are is because of the habits, nutrition and lifestyle you have developed. To see results these areas also must change. ... If you are looking to take the step and take action towards achieving your goals. Feel free to DM myself and I would be more than happy to arrange a free consulation session to see how I can help you crush your goals.

09.01.2022 I think its about time I congratulate @tashsorensen publicly for her victory last month in the August Carson Fitness challenge. Tash achieved awesome results last month with her training and this was all due to her consistent hard work from the get go. In 4 weeks Tash dropped 1.2kg of body weight, added 1.5kg of muscle mass and dropped 5% body fat. ... Tash is a perfect example as to the importance of consistency in all aspects of training in order to achieve great results. Love your work Tash!

07.01.2022 Its easy for myself as a trainer to tell you exactly what you need to do with your training and nutrition to achieve optimum results by the book. But - much of the time this isnt what will work in reality. The honest answer to how YOU will achieve the best results for YOUR health and fitness, is to identify what you can do consistently and sustainably day by day. How can you achieve balance between the non-negotiable tasks of everyday life, whilst also giving yourself the time to care for your body and mind?

06.01.2022 TIP TUESDAY! Dont shop on an empty stomach.

06.01.2022 Habits Shape Our Day! Much of the time we go through life subconsciously making decisions that are either leading us in the direction of success or leading us away, these are going to be dependant on who you are as an individual and the experiences youve had in life. The first step to putting negative habits to rest is to become aware of them, start consciously making decisions and begin noting down when those decision are leading you in the right direction and when they ar...e not. Note the circumstance behind the decisions, what made you make that decision, how were you feeling, and what made this unwanted decision easy? The more conscious you are of your negative habits the easier it becomes to stop them.

06.01.2022 Remember you will not always feel like it. In all honesty there's probably going to be more days that you don't feel like it then there are days that you do. But... show up and do the work anyway. Chances are you will leave feeling great and thankful that you sucked it up and got it done.

05.01.2022 Huge thankyou to @tudor_vasile_ , @clairebear1403 and the tvglobal group for being awarded the 2020 Trainer Of The Year over the weekend. It was a very proud moment of my career & I cannot wait to see what the future holds with @snapfitnessmaroochydore.

05.01.2022 Without question the way you perceive exercise is whats going to decide whether or not you can maintain a healthy training routine for the long term. If you perceive exercise as something that is hard, it makes you hot, sweaty, sore and uncomfortable and you cannot see beyond that, then it is likely that you will be unable to maintain a training routine for more than a couple of weeks. You may be able to slog it out for a couple of weeks here or there but if you simply view... exercise as a chore then you will inevitably give up. Those who maintain training as a consistent, non-negotiable routine in there life are those who see beyond the uncomfortable aspects of exercise, they see the positive effect it not only has on there body but on there mind. Discomfort is where we are truly tested and where we ultimately grow as individuals. How many opportunities have you likely missed out on because you chose to take the comfortable road. Exercise is no different, every time you choose to sit at home and avoid the discomforts that come with exercising you are choosing to resist growth both physically and mentally. See more

03.01.2022 Here is the workout of the day straight from my online coaching platform. You can do it anywhere, all you will need is a skipping rope and 20 minutes of your time. Enjoy!!! Comment below how many rounds you punch out.

03.01.2022 Balance is the key to success over the long term! Without it you will burn out well before your goal has been achieved. Understanding when to give it your all and when to relax a little is essential in achieving a healthy and sustainable lifestyle for the long haul. For me this means 100% effort Monday to Friday and then a more a relaxed approach throughout the weekend.

01.01.2022 Time to recognize @beckyhorror awesome achievement over the last 7 weeks!!! I have been training Becky for several months, but 7 weeks ago Becky stepped up her commitment to not only her training but also to her diet and the results are absolutely fantastic. Although she is weighing in at a very similar weight to what she started on, her body composition has changed dramatically. ... Becky has seen an enormous reduction in BF% and a large increase in skeletal muscle mass. All this is due to her following her nutrition protocols with 100% consistency and staying on track with all of her workouts!
