04.01.2022 We grow our greenhouse eggplants year round with our peak growing times being July to October. Greenhouse eggplant tends to have less blemishes and disease issues than field eggplant. Our greenhouses allow us to control the temperature, light and water depending on what the crop needs. Greenhouses produce a good quality and high yield for a small footprint compared to outdoor cropping.

02.01.2022 Have you heard? Pineapples could be the key to preventing the spread of #coronavirus The fruit and stem of a #pineapple contains a group of enzymes called Bormelai. These enzymes have been used by researchers to create a cancer treatment know as BromAc, which has now been adapted to help prevent COVID-19 from moving into the lungs of carriers and spreading to other people. Trials are being conducted to determine whether this could be an effective preventative measure to help stop the spread of the virus.
